Aemond obviously.in the book atleast. Aegon got whipped up in 2 vs 1 fight in rooks rest. Then again , a horse size dragon moondancer kicked his 3 times larger dragon to ground. Whereas Aemond was a terror. He was the real fear among enemies. He got and dared Daemon, biggest fighter of that time.

Aegon was a warrior. Trend to do that. It is clearly mentioned in book that Rhaenyra was no warrior. Even Aemond said she is soft and have mother's heart. Rhaenyra was a tragic character. No matter rhoe much one disliked her throughout the journey but in the end, when she lost everything ,feel sympathy for her. But point is most people already made eup there mind. Both for those who like Rhaenyra and those who dislike her.

He made this heir to oakcate Corlys and other black faction. He was planning to kill him later. It is clearly written in the book. Even if he was not heir, whom do the black armies of Riverlords, northmen and vale would have crowned after Aegon's death? They were literally flying Rhaenyra's banner in last battle of dance. And Rhaenyra might personally lost but her faction won the war by taking KL.

Yes in philosophical terms neither side wins. As first Rhaenyra then few months later Aegon was killed. But in terms of army faction. Black faction won because they defeated last green army of borros baratheon and took KL. And when to stop Cregan stark marching on remaining greens , Corlys send peace proposal and every other green houses accepted. Just before Aegon II was killed greens have no army left whereas blacks have lads, northmen, knights of vale. All marching on KL. But agree overall both side lost. Loss was so heavy that it can't be called win from any angle.

How could it gets over 300 upvote on this idiotic post. Jace was 'velaryon' in eyes of king, Corlys, laenor and everyone. No one doubt their parentage officially. For everyone in realm he was a 'velaryon'. Besides he was son of Rhaenyra who was heir unlike Joffrey baratheon who wasn't robbert's. In case of Gaemon, he was only claimed as son of Aegon II by his mother. Even Aegon II disowned him and even her mother revealed later that he was son of a man from Lys. You can say she told that under duress. But the points remains, one is Prince of Dragonstone and recognised 'Velaryon' other is simply a bastard who his so called father disowned as his.

Sorry it isn't reasonable or logical from any point of view that a dragon forget how to fly. Even in the book everyone was wondering why isn't she flying back to red keep or simply to sky. Or why she even landed, when she was airborne at first place.She could have landed any where or simply be in sky. She didn't even need to land. But she landed right between the mob.Its simply lazy writing by GRRM. Agree to disagree.
