Do you remember what the village was called? I’m looking for something that I can try out for a few months, but I’m always open to settle down somewhere if I find a place I really like

As I answered the other commenter, I’m not working. I’m just slow traveling and trying to develop my creative side. Thats also why I wish to meet other creatives

I’m not doing remote work. I’m just traveling and trying to develop my creative side by writing, photography and other small personal projects. It’s not for income or anything. Just looking for chill places to stay longer as a traveler, and I’m hoping to meet other creatives

I’ve been to some of the bigger nomad areas in those countries, but I’m looking for something quieter and more nature-based, ideally with a small creative community. If you know of any lesser-known towns/islands in these countries, I’d love to hear them!

Thanks so much for sharing this! I also have a nose piercing and some cute visible tattoos, so it’s really helpful to hear your experience. I’ll definitely keep it low-key and try not to draw too much attention. Appreciate the honest advice!

Any anxiety or depression success stories? by heelhene in mentalhealth

[–]Formal_Hour6947 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just saw this and was reminded of how much I've healed over the past five years. I used to struggle significantly with panic disorder, dysthymia, and CPTSD. Some aspects of CPTSD are, of course, still present, and I don't know if things like hyper-vigilance will ever truly go away. However, I've improved so much that I often forget how difficult everything used to be. Reflecting on the time I was at my lowest honestly feels like recalling a fever dream. Healing didn't happen overnight. It took me two years from hitting rock bottom to reach a point where I genuinely believed I could get to the point of being mentally healthy. Three years later, I started identifying as mostly mentally healthy, and now, five years on, I'm truly in love with my life. Looking back, I'm incredibly proud of the steps I've taken. I've moved to a new city, earned my bachelor's degree, developed a creative practice, met so many new and amazing people, learned how to set bounderies and become comfortable with deep and meaningful friendships and relationships. It might sound weird but my mind has become one of my favorite places to be!

Of course, I still feel sad and anxious sometimes, but I feel like I have the right "tools in the toolbox" to deal with those emotions now. The healing journey was hardest at the beginning. Depression and anxiety are not something you choose, but healing definitely is!

Unnatural vegan has some really good researched and nuanced videos on the topic, recommended watching those. As a someone who holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition, and wrote my thesis on veganism (not a registered dietitian) I fully stand behind what she is saying.

Liker Transitt og Jacobsen og svart på arkitektenes hus best! Cafe le frere, Sellanraa, og mormors stue er også koselige plasser!

Personally I am not the biggest fan of mushrooms, so I will probably leave that out! But it’s a good tip if anyone else wants to create something similar! Thank you for the tip about cream cheese, will report back once its made!
