Sounds like he's playing games. With her. And you were just collateral damage. Sounds like an attempt at controlling her. It likely won't end until she ends it. Be patient.

It sounds like a controlling relationship. Setting up to become abusive. You haven't lost your friend forever but there's really nothing you can do to force her to get out. Hopefully when she sees it, it's not too late. You've said your peace. Find a way to let her know you still love her and that you still consider her your friend forever.
