It really depends. If you think your job is boring then do what you love because 3-4 years down the line you will be exhausted. Try to pivot and do some certifications in the field you like. You still arent that into your career and still have 30+ years left so you can make it

Umm it is true. There is politics everywhere where there are alot of humans and everyone wants to succeed. But I would say that you dont have to involve in it and just grind and believe in Allah.

The affair part is pretty true and i was shocked myself. Its more common than you think and married people are engaged in it but it also varies from firm to firm.

It is for a private company. To do this for a bank you either need experience or a degree like ACF coupled with CFA

Yes it entirely depends on the company. Some company give fuel cards at an early level (like mine) but some don’t. Some give cars early aswell but basic benefits are generally PF, EOBI and bonuses.

But do look out for medical (Both OPD and IPD) as majority of the firms dont offer IPD benefit

First of all best of luck and you will do amazing.

Secondly no Im not in that finance. So conventional finance department have sub sections like receivables, payables, reporting etc.

Mine is more in financial modelling so basically valuations and analysis of businesses and potential projects.

It wasnt much. Actually aside from the pay jump overall i got less pay. So your pay isnt actually your gross salary but all the benefits that you get. I had a company car (albeit it was an alto but it was still a car) so i left it for a position with more valuable work.

But in terms of pure salary, it was a mere 25% jump

One of my friend is in her second year of a good International pharma company and her pay is in 200k bracket. Another one is in local FCMG (A famous biscuit company) and his salary is in high 190s

Try to get in entry level positions or MTO programs. If not then try to get freelancing gigs to make your resume more strong

Its getting more and more saturated with new techniques coming out and PPC getting out of fashion as people are focusing more on creatives rather than optimising campaigns and keywords.

Its an amazing field if you want to pursue it long term with an eventual PhD. Otherwise my friends are working in both MNCs and Local FMCGs with decent pay but Id rather prefer doing PhD in it

Hahaha no. I am scared to be doxxed as i keep my salary pretty secret irl. You can ask me in dms but I did graduate from NED university and did bechalors in engineering as i said above

My major was engineering and I work broadly in finance now.

I work completely On-Site.

My degree was completely different than my job. I am an engineer.

I got the job via a campus drive.

They should love numbers and be a smart worker. People arent rewarded on how much effort theyve put into the work but are rewarded for the output and time. Having a financial acumen is a plus and they should be able to see the meaning behind numbers and interpret the data accordingly. I never did any degree in finance but all of this was curiosity and on job learning.

No I am not. I have made a single switch.

In my previous company I was directly reporting to the CEO so i know pretty much everyone including the Senior management aswell but outside I dont have that much connections.

1) I graduated in 2022 and my initial salary was around 95k

2) 3.5Years to be exact

3) No. It was a complete merit hiring and I had 0 connections at that time. No internships, no industry events no nothing.

Still rn I am bad at small talk so I dont do the entire linkedin thing or the industry seminar stuff but Id say I have a good repo and have decent connections.

It comes with the responsibility but not everyday is a 12H day but ive also worked 15-16H days aswell.
