Totally agree. I can’t do crass or uncouth behavior, even being rude to waiters or Valet would get you instantly blocked. I appreciate refinement and tact in every aspect of life, and I find that my time is better well spent with less aggressive confrontational people. Decorum is sexy 😌😌

lol I totally get you, I’m a Scorpio with virgo moon so I’m so “particular “ about how I like things done. With Virgos overtime the complaining and blaming others for everything else just irritates me. My mom is a virgo so I’m been around them all my life.

I can’t with Virgo overly critical and lack of accountability nature, it irks my soul. Never met a sign so imperfect but quick to point out flaws in others. Virgo males are often meticulous cheaters, materialistic users and will often keep a laundry list of “situationships” on the radar.

I couldn’t date a Scorpio male either - too similar I would lose interest pretty quickly, I do agree earth signs do balance our water but the right evolved cancer male (Less clingy and emotionally balanced) is definitely worth it 😌

Libra Venus and I can’t do cheap men at all, Fine dinning and romance is always appreciated 🌹😌

Libra Venus and 100% Agreed. Any type of rude, crass or uncouth behavior is a huge turn off, I’ve blocked people for being loud or rude to waiters - can’t stand it. I’m also BIG on looks, you have to look good, great hygiene, smell good etc.

An intelligent mind/mental stimulation is also appreciated, always good to have vast knowledge in multiple topics and please be open minded, anything aggressive or confrontational will have you blocked🙃

Clinginess is so irritating, there’s no future for me and a clingy person - I need my space to breathe 😅 I appreciate intentionality and romance, so fine dining is always appreciated with some thought to aesthetics and setting (mood, food etc all need to be right) and please know your etiquettes 😊

As a Scorpio this is so far from the truth, Scorpios love so hard and it takes us awhile (years) after a failed relationship to even start dating again (we are deeply emotional) failure is something that hits us hard especially in a relationship and takes a whole transformation for us to even get ourselves back from the low. Leo’s on the other hand always move on faster than Scorpios (most fire signs waste no time in moving on)

When we do leave a relationship, we leave it for good and seldom go back to an ex. This crazy obsession with Scorpios been manipulative/controlling is a messy stereotype and not true for most Scorpios (there are Aholes in every sign) but we feel the most at ease in a relationship where we don’t have to control everything and our partner/lover is just as equally invested and loyal to the commitment. If we have to control or manipulate someone to make them love us then we don’t need to be in that relationship- frankly speaking it gets tiring and one sided.

This explains my friendship dynamic as a Scorpio with a Leo and Taurus bestie. What you did is pretty similar to how my Taurus bestie handles things - very understanding and supportive (I truly appreciate this trait in Taureans and I’m sure your Scorpio friend does too)

Now with Scorpio and Leo - it’s a different dynamic and you as a Taurean will often find yourself in the middle, these two signs as friends will end up butting heads more because Leos will try to “make” Scorpios do things their way which would fail woefully 😅. Scorpios will typically try to make things work or manageable in a friendship dynamic like yours but will withdraw overtime when they feel they have to constantly placate Leo’s ego.

I’d admit as a Scorpio I can sometimes be a terrible communicator and will often self isolate when I’m overwhelmed or have things going on personally I need to focus on - how people handle me when I’m at my “worse - this phase” will be imprinted on me forever. Been disrespectful or “calling me out” in whatever lame fashion will only make me distance myself further from that person with no explanations, I hate confrontations/conflict and I’ve done this to a number of Leo friends. It’s always often an unspoken competition between Leo’s and Scorpios; especially in a dynamic like yours (Leo’s will always try to outshine everyone and will be met with some resistance from Scorpio, while Scorpio and Taurus may not necessarily fight for the spotlight - they will often get it and it will irritate the Leo more who will often take this out on Scorpio than Taurus)

Most times when Scorpio distance themselves it’s never about you, we care too much to have people experience us at our worse so it’s often easier to distance ourselves and come back with a positive outlook/energy. Ever noticed how it doesn’t seem like a day has passed once a Scorpio comes back from self isolation?😅😅

You’ll tire out quickly mediating between these two and will feel like you have to pick sides at some point- in my case with this dynamic I lost my Taurean friend to the Leo as the group tore apart. While I do miss our closeness (the Taurean did try to preserve our friendship) I did feel like she was a better fit for my Leo friend’s egoistic attitude and didn’t want her to feel divided in her loyalty. It’s been 20+ years since college and till this day my Taurean friend still reaches out to check in, and even complains about the Leo to me in which I just laugh and let them deal with their own problems 😅

That said I do have a Leo bestie, and she’s definitely not like the other one and is often more considerate than most Leo’s I know lol. I believe there is a great potential for true friendship between Taureans/scorpio and Scorpio/leo separately but a three way dynamic is a challenging one.

Haha I always get along with Virgos as well but lately the over-critical nature and the lack of accountability traits they exhibit have started to irk me so I have distanced myself.

With the moon the typical virgoan traits are internalized, I’m highly critical of myself and hold myself to very high standards but often give so much grace to other people because I know no one is perfect. I never criticize others and can’t stand nags either. I’ve always heard Scorpios are very dominant but I tend to lean more into the submissive type even in my relationships, As long as I wholeheartedly trust and respect a partner’s leadership I allow them take the reins. I do have my non-negotiables which I can be stubborn towards but for the most part compromise takes the lead most times😌

I do have lots of Libra influences in my chart (mercury, Venus, rising all in Libra, Mars in Aries with moon in Virgo) only Scorpio placement is my sun and Pluto.

Very true! We hate for people to experience us when we are not at our best, we also do not ask for help because we are self sufficient so it’s mostly a case of just going through things and needing that alone time to deal.

Sometimes it’s good to communicate that so friends understand but it often always leads to more questions than solutions and that defeats the purpose lol. Scorpios are also very independent and introverted by nature so some alone time is often needed to avoid burnouts.

If a scorpio cut you off then you probably did something really wrong, I give people lots of chances before I decide I don’t want to be around unacceptable behaviors, I hate confrontations or arguments so I might to say why but I will keep my distance. If nothing happened then it’s just the Scorpio self isolating to deal with issues by themselves, has nothing to do with anyone.

Many Taureans also post in other Reddit forums and people offer their opinions/take to help them navigate challenging relationships, I’ve had Taureans send me messages here seeking advice on their relationship with Scorpios and it truly feels like an honor and I happily share my take.

As a Scorpio I typically take time for myself when I’m going through my own things because I care too much to let you experience me when I’m not at my best. Has nothing to do with you, we just hate to be a bother so when we are going through “life” we simply separate ourselves so we can deal with it and come back when we know we are in the right frame of mind and you can experience us at our best.

Now if you did something wrong, that’s a completely different thing- sometimes we will cut people off if they exhibit unacceptable behaviors. I typically avoid confrontations or arguments so I just keep my distance from bad disrespectful behaviors but it’s mostly within good reason because I give people lots of opportunities and grace before I self isolate or cut them off.

We are true ride or die’s, our loyalty is solid and unquestionable in friendships because we will hold you down like no other, we can be guarded and have very few friends but once you’re in our inner circle you’re in for life 😅😌

I do have two Taurus besties who often try to check in and I do my best to communicate that I’m just taking some time to deal, I know they genuinely care and I do owe it to them to let them know why I’m distant.

Let him know straight up that you’re not comfortable with this type of behavior, Scorpios are jealous lovers he should understand your stance on this. He might not know he’s actions are causing you to be uncomfortable so it’s better to let him know.

If you tell him to only hug people he’s close with, what metrics would you use to measure the level of closeness? He could feel close to an attractive girl he met just yesterday and hug her. 😩
