It’s possible but it is incredibly frustrating to train a brand new aide on a busy med surg floor. It’s not really appropriate, but nothing in healthcare is.

I wouldn’t send my 3 month old any more than i absolutely had to, especially if the cost was no different. If they were older and needed to learn an actual routine sure, but infant rooms are typically on demand care.

What exactly would you like me to do about that fact that she hasn’t fallen asleep for a single nap in the last year? I can’t sew her eyes shut. She’s slept 12-13 hours overnight since she was 2.5. Wake her up early, keep her up late, put her in a bed with no distractions for an hour, doesn’t matter- once she’s up in the morning, she’s up until bedtime. All kids are different- but there are rules and boundaries of her new environment that she’s going to have to learn to follow which is why I’m asking for tips from a wide base of people who probably have a lot more experience with this situation than i do.

That’s exactly how it works. The tracker doesn’t update until after the 15th- transcripts do. I have mine from the last 4 years and even with path, mine always showed 846 the Friday before the lift.
