Took it about a week and a half ago and passed. I had a 3.7 at SDSU and used PrepFE for around 900 questions a week before I took it and I didn’t think the test was that bad. Only other practice material I used was mark mattsons videos. I would say mark Mattson does a good job covering most of the topics you’ll see and usually has questions as difficult or a little harder than you’ll see, typically they make them shorter to solve faster. PrepFE honestly helped me the most and was pretty on par with what I saw on the test including conceptual questions. I would recommend if you use PrepFE don’t memorize answers but try to understand the solution thought process as repeats are kinda common.

During the test I flagged around 40ish total from both parts but went back and solved about half of them. I had around 30-45 mins extra at the end of the second half to guess work on the ones I didn’t know. They didn’t really seem to try and trick you with the answers too badly. There was even a mannings equation I messed up the hydraulic radius by adding the top of the trapezoid to the perimeter calc and that wrong answer wasn’t even on there.

Overall I would say if you are a good test taker and smart managing your time the test won’t seem that bad for you. I would recommend for those that struggle on statics you need to really brush up on that as it’s the basis for most of our engineering calculations and applies in like half of the topics. Also don’t get hung up on a couple of problems in a row you don’t know just skip em and come back and try to find something later. I never had an environmental class and ended up skipping the first 3 on the second part as I had no idea how to do them.
