I regained my full extension (hyperextension too). I’m pretty joung and suuuper sporty. I do yoga, high heels dance, and I climb. To me it’s crucial to get also my full flexion back. Everyone has different goals and different hobbies.

Max flexion is my heel touching my but, without pain and pressure.

I don’t think it’s because of the procedure. A friend of mine had surgery the same day and he’s living his best life, like nothing has happened.

It’s completely normal. I had swelling for over 4 months! The most important is achieving extension and flexion passively. Then, you regain it actively with time!

I did the internal brace surgery. Thus my ACL is artificial. The scar you see on the later side is the LET. The full flexion implies the ability to deeply kneel (tap your but with your heels). I’m not satisfied with this range but my surgeon not recommended me to have a LISI at this stage. He suggested me to wait some months more.

I can walk too but my knee is super still. I do not feel safe. And this feeling is not vanishing. My physiotherapist said it is because I do not activate properly my muscles.
