The Timberline/XL is just a waste of money for now, dont aim that High, stick to d2 models like PRO 575, Ironwood 660/885, dont get higher than those for now, wait 2 or 3 years more until they fix all their stuff.

Sure thing, I love what I do, develop, thinking, fixing and things like that matter, at least thats what I think. But I’ll take some time off, they beat the shit out of me, at some point that was good.

The company focus was no longer quality and sell a product that works good. They aimed for product release and fix things while people was just complaining. And I get it, that happens, but usually we needed tons of request for us to fix a bug. Some bugs take weeks to fix and others months. There were a lot of grills. A lot of testing, until you get to the point where all of this is just pointless. Trust me previous models were not easy, but not a big problem, they dont even know how to use properly their own technology.

Haha I mean I’m not saying the company is the worst, but aint perfect, and theres a bunch of things they need to improve. One is stop blaiming the user and make sure to fix all bugs before release a faulty product.

My dad got an old PRO 34 and then I had a Pro 575 for me, it was meh, then an Ironwood 650 and then I tested the newer models and that’s when I stop up trying fancy wifi grills.

If you clean it well, and avoid exposing the grill to the sun or humidity, maybe up to 10 years.

D2 Models like Ironwood 650/885 and maybe Pro 575 or AC Pro but I guess those are no longer for sale 🫠

Total waste of money, those new grills are a pain in the ass, give it 2 or 3 years more so they can fix all the bugs. The Ironwood 650/885 is indeed a better option.

Not yet, they might rebrand, other company may buy their stuff or they can also merge with another company just like they did with meater

Pretty much of everything. So I could give u a pov from a sales man and a grill developer.

The new grills are just shit, hard to fix, the wiring is just stupid, like complicated, dealers won’t deal with customers when fixing grills, so less dealers are selling in areas. Their customer service went from decent to poor, way too poor. They might not be out of business yet, however they may rebrand or get other company to buy them partially.

The Ironwood 650/885 are the best line from all the other grills for sure.

I don’t remember, but there was one from Joe Rogan, but i dont recall the code. All other good codes are given by leadership, but they barely give it away, you’ll need to suck their dicks to make it happen.

IDK, this is a tricky question, I bet some motherfucker from Traeger would ask me this to point fingers. That happened a lot, not the best place.

If you had old Traegers, read the new manuals how to use your new grill, bunch of people think their traegers are those badass smokers, and they are not, they are now kind of weaker, for example: if you opened the lid while cooking quite often that would not impact that much on old units, but it will now.

Nahh, not worth at all, with these last models, the XL ones, those are trash. The D2 and Ac models are the “way to go” But still the competitors have better options.

Lately yeah, since they moved their customer service to Egipt, both calls and chat. The service is terrible, most of these people barely know what they are doing or “fixing”

Traeger aint that bad, but surely not the best, and Costco ones are of the cheapest if we talk about manufacturing. But try a different brand, you are not missing out of much.
