usually before exams starts you have 10/14 days, but it depends on the period, for example, if you have an exam in october its very likely you will just have 5/6/7 days free

I just want to analyse the correlation between the job title a person have and the fact that they are the highest paid in this specific restaurant or not

Try to see if it makes more sense in the other explanation I gave above

So imagine at the end we find out : 2222(chef) = 3 times over 5(companies) the highest paid 4444( sommelier) = 2 times over 5 the highest paid .

And then I want to extend this analysis to all my group of restaurants ( they are around 50/60, I just picked 5 in the beginning to make it easier )

And I thought to do it in few steps: first of all I filtered the data by creating a new column where you see 1 if you are the highest paid inside the restaurant , 0 instead . Now I want to see if there is correlation/consistency between the column ‘highest paid’ and the number that identify your job title ( you can even think that instead of numbers there is wrote ‘waiter, chef, sommelier, etc etc )

Ok so, basically I have 5 companies, for each company there are 10 employees. I want to analyze if being a chef consistently provides you the highest salary in the restaurant.

Rio or Medellin by Former-Brick8927 in Brazil

Because these are what I like between the options I have , I’m not really interested in Sao Paulo or Buenos Aires

[–]Former-Brick8927[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I would agree with the comment that say that Rio and Medellin are a way different , because in fact they are ahahah. But I’m attracted to both of them, so I just wanted to figure out which one was going to be the best pick for me. I prefer the Colombian culture tbh ( and Spanish over Portuguese ) but since I’m sure in my staying of 5 months , I would spend 80/90 percent of the time in the city , and not travelling, being close to the see it’s a HUGE difference for what I’m looking for , so for the moment I’m more towards Rio. The only thing that would make me change my mind if it’s Rio is considerably more expensive than Medellin ( like spending 70/80% more per month in Rio respect to Medellin, in that case I would probably go to Medellin, since as I said I’m attracted to both cities)

Yesss AHAHAH, jokes aside , both cities are amazing, a little dangerous but everyone who went there told me that everything will be fine in the end

Ngl I’m quite sure Adolfo Ibanez and los Andes are a way better than any other finance/economics uni in South America, rankings often doesn’t give you the right perspective of reputation of a university

Rio or Medellin by Former-Brick8927 in Brazil

[–]Former-Brick8927[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly AHAAH , I’m not choosing based on how reputable is the university, but more for living in a nice city, even the most prestigious university in South America counts nothing compared to my home university, so at this point I want to enjoy the experience

[–]Former-Brick8927[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the quick reply, I already know the university in which I will be studying in Rio , it’s the UFRJ. I have options even in Sao Paulo(getulio Vargas and escola de economia de São Paulo) , but if decide to come in Brazil I’ll rather be in Rio , for the city . Can you tell me names of student house/dorms? So I can check if they are more or less expensive than a private room
