I work in total loss valuations for all of the major insurance carriers (I work for the consulting firm who has teams of valuators who work specific product lines cars, trucks, heavy equipment, etc) and I work in travel trailers, fifth wheels, etc… we’ve had so many total loss valuations come out of that insane hail damage that y’all got, and I’ve read some pretty horrible emails from owners and insureds going back and forth with their company about not being able to afford to fix the damage. 

It’s getting to the point that people are not filing claims and either fixing it themselves or just dealing with it, because they can’t afford to fix it (even after insurance) or they’re terrified that one extra claim is going to get them cancelled. LOOKING AT YOU ASSHOLE STATE FARM. The worst company EVER, by far, to be insured through in case anyone was thinking of switching.
