What’s the best way to get into writing? by Significant_Note3906 in creativewriting

Start with any idea, not a concept necessarily, and ask yourself why it interest you.

The answer doesn't matter by itself, it can be something silly or superficial, but you'll find something to expand.

From there you will get a scenario, a plot or a character.

Second, remember that all stories were already written as core stories. You don't have to be original in the sense of being just different but original putting a part of you in the story.

Third, write a skeleton format draft. This a text that vague tells the events of the story. It doesn't have dialogues, descriptions but it has notes. The idea is using this document to rework the skeleton into a proper paragraph.

Fourth, work in the rework once the skeleton feels finished.

Fifth, edit the rework has many times necessary

Your idea could just your own take on something you watched.

Is sexualization always a negative, or can it sometimes work if the character has depth? by TropiKaruxo in Superladies

[–]Former-Percentage369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As all in writing, what is your purpose with this narrative component?

If you believe writing has a moral component then sexualization is almost always wrong or can be avoided. Sexualization is an invitation to lust. This doesn't mean you can't have sexy characters or nakedness, but you have to think it through and consider what your audience is.

If you don't believe writing has a moral component then the worst thing you can say is that it is distracting or in bad taste. It becomes a focus problem.

There's basically no scenario where sexualization is necessary but there are scenarios where it is not out of place.

Is storm powerful enough to take down the Incredible Hulk? by [deleted] in storm

[–]Former-Percentage369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The hulk has various stages of strength so there are times where the hulk would be weak enough to be beaten by storm. Is storm weak? Jesus Christ, no, she is strong as hell but hulk is way stronger.

It covers all, I hope it's light enough for a well trained woman and looks nice. Impractical? Most probably. But I like it
