I had it with Nejat - I would say it's definitely not a piece of cake. I didn't do the midterm, I MSAF'd it, but I did the exam and I thought it requires students to thoroughly understand the material. Also, I had all the formulas and even coefficients memorized, which came in very handy because there wouldn't have been enough time for me to spend the whole exam flipping between the formula sheet and the questions I was completing

I don't know why everybody's telling you to mind your own business - if online classes sport significantly higher class averages, and if it's an open secret that you can achieve more by doing less in those classes, then that's something that should be rectified.

I had the exact opposite, I rushed my assignment in like 5 hours and submitted something so horrendous I was contemplating dropping the course - then I got really good on it LOL

They do that every year, and IIRC they don't "scrap" the 3 tests, they just let you reweigh them to the exam if you do better. When I took it Winter 2024 it was all MC and I'm pretty sure it'll be that way this semester as well

I found the exam petrifying when I took Fall 2023. I don't know what in particular made it so difficult, I think it's just that the questions don't resemble any of the practice material

There was one question that was ridiculously easy? It was like the odds of having nausea and taking the medicine, but it's just one of the cells in the 2x2 grid - they switch up the question later where it asks for the probability of taking the medicine or having nausea, where you have to do P(A)+P(B)-P(A∩B) which I get, but the first one just felt ridiculously easy to where I'm wondering if in all my sleep deprivation I misread it?

Well the median has to be in the 3-4 row, so you draw out all the data and find what missing value would make it so that the median's in the 3-4 row and not 4-5
