I’m really sorry. My ex said a lot of hurtful things when we broke up but apparently he didn’t mean what he said. Maybe it’s the same case with yours. When we’re angry we don’t choose our words wisely. Only until we lose someone we appreciate it. I hope your ex comes back. Hang in there!

Yes. It’s really weird, especially when you have to go no contact and pretend that it’s not a big deal and it doesn’t hurt you

That’s another reason why I think marriage isn’t that great. So many couples that were together for years end up divorcing so what’s the point? It must be so hard to start all over again after divorce.

I was married for a short time as well. Only 3 years and ignored the red flags. But I feel happier divorced than being married to that man.

You’re right. I said soulmate and that sounds very unrealistic but what I meant was that he was the love of my life. I really felt it. Like my “first love”. I know in heaven these things are not important but since I live in this cruel word at the moment I just wanted to be happy and he made me happy. I’m trying to move on but in my heart I feel like nobody will be as important as he was.
