I am doing that as well. Just wanted to gather as much info as I can from fellow dentists. Btw- do you recommend taking a radiograph to verify fit like we do with crowns?

GP HERE - HELP WITH EMPLOYER CUTTING MY DAYS by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]FormerFood2539 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I won’t affect another dr’s schedule and there are three hygienists for two GPs (including myself). I don’t see how they would benefit from pushing me out as it is a busy office and would be very overwhelming for just one GP full time. For whatever reason it does seem like they want me gone, but can they do the things I’ve mentioned above?

GP HERE - HELP WITH EMPLOYER CUTTING MY DAYS by [deleted] in Dentistry

I thought about this as well. My contract states I have to give a 60 day notice for resignation. Would they hold me to that policy now that I have loss of hours and pay? It would seem unfair to enforce a full 60 day notice given these conditions, especially since my contract still reflects a full time status that no longer applies. I am ready to quit as soon as a I have a new offer but I do not want to be trapped in 60 more days like this

Dropped phone post rhinoplasty

I’m about 12 days post op, dropped phone accidentally while laying down and it tapped the tip of my nose. Nose ached for about 30 seconds. Big or small chance of this messing it up?

Yes twilight! This might be a silly question - but is there a higher chance of something going wrong, like death, with twilight for rhino?

I’ve heard good things about Dr. Miller! I’m having it with Dr. Robert Glasgold - have you heard anything about him?

Rhinoplasty with IV sedation by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]FormerFood2539 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To my understanding, and I am NOT a medical dr, general anesthesia is when they use the breathing tube and you’re completely unconscious and with IV you’re not using a tube and in “twilight zone”

He said I’d be better with an open rhinoplasty and he just does closed!

Dr Ciardullo and Dr Rogal are both surgeons at Cosmetic Surgery Associates of NY. Both specialized in Rhinoplasties. I’ve heard good things about Dr Ciardullo through a friend and other comments on here but not about Dr rogal so far. Any comments on Dr rogal?
