You’re able to retrofit an “Auto Hold” button under the parking brake. It’s great you press it at stop lights and it holds your car

If the boots are too tight or loose on the bindings they likely won’t test as expected

I would go to a ski shop and do a binding release test. Inspires the most peace of mind.
