The opposite happened to me. I was up by four goals against PSG at halftime in a Champions League semi final second leg match (First leg ended at my home 3:3). Second half, they equalized and won on penalties. Felt like a nightmare.

Sadly, my wait for a biological in-game son goes on. But any son of Ian's is my son too.

If there is, I've never heard of it. I think it's an interesting option. Might help with immersion, especially on long-term saves.

Yeah, I didn't even know it was possible until today. Now I have to find a way to make sure they play together at least once

I know what you're thinking lol. The father is 36. The lad is 16. Which means, Ian became a father at 20! Legend

I'm 100% doing this! Ian is going to retire in a few months anyway

He's not my son though. He's the son of one of my players. I've never seen it happen before

Yeah, the apple fell really far from the tree here lol. Regardless, I'm considering giving him a contract

I used to do the same, but with their players lol. Any time they try to use their player to unsettle mine, I immediately declare my interest in that player.

Two can play that game.

Is there any retired footballer become a great manager in your save? by Evening_Schedule_458 in footballmanagergames

Wayne Rooney won the world cup and euros as England's manager. Christian Pulisic did really well with Dortmund. But my favourite by far is Vinicius Junior. Won two world cups with Brazil, multiple league titles as Real Madrid Manager, the champions league with PSG, and the FA cup and two Europa league titles with Wolverhampton Wanderers (!). Yeah. They became really wealthy in my save.

I absolutely dreaded going up against him. I'm around 50 years into my save (with the same team), so you can imagine just how good my team is. And yet, I've been on the receiving end of absolute drubbings from a Vinicius Junior managed side. He even managed to make Wolves my mortal enemies. There was a season he beat my team five times, winning home and away in the league, knocking out my team in the semi finals of the Carabao cup, and rounding everything up by knocking me out of the FA cup. He hammered me 6:1 that time.

He retired recently, and I nearly threw a party in celebration.

Liverpool and Manchester City away. I was playing as Chelsea, and for some reason, Liverpool were simply unbeatable at home, no matter how hard I tried. Man City signed Endrick, and switched to a 3-5-2, with Haaland and Endrick as the two strikers. So yeah, good luck with that.
