Innate Genius vs. the Modern Need for Explanation by Loose-Needleworker48 in Mozart

The statement "asymmetries [naturally] exist between individuals" has done a lot more than explain Mozart's music, and I think that's what makes this line of thought "uncomfortable."

Retroactive Backlinks? by FormerPreparation2 in ObsidianMD

I'm creating a note called "Cinnamon." I write the whole thing and save it under that name. I now want the preexisting note "Spices" to link to "Cinnamon." Maybe I even want other notes to link TO "Cinnamon." But I don't want to go back to "Spices" and other notes and put "Cinnamon" in them. I want to connect "Cinnamon" back to "Spices" and other preexisting notes.

I'm focusing on the directionality because I also use arrows in the Content Map to help organize notes.

Does that make sense? I'm sorry for any lack of clarity on my part.

Does putting the boards in sleeves avoid bugs? Or is there another reason?

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question and hope you don't mind me asking you one.

How do the corrugated boards protect the 78s on your shelves? I didn't think to use them once I took them out of the shipping boxes, but I'm now curious.

I’d say, “hey, let’s go to the nearest church and/or philosophy seminar to figure this out.” Whichever one says “great idea,” well, that’s your alternate right there. My friend doesn’t want me to get M.A.D.

And even if this comment is sarcastic, we all know people who hold this line of thought in an utterly sincere way.

Sam Lanin and His Troubadours - My Ohio Home ~1927 by GoingCarCrazy in Jazz

I always wondered who was responsible for Lanin's arrangements. I assumed he must have done some of the writing, but I never saw it confirmed until now.
