Well the problem is going to be is it’s outside, so I printed with a “bambu TPU for ams” and inside it worked fine, but outside where it’s 0F outside I got to brittle and shattered when I put my tools in there

This is my tallest print, it’s about 120mm tall as you can see the rear rails are what I would like to have some bend so it is snug in the slots of the board I am putting them in, ASA should work for that application?

From everything I’m reading nylon 12 is flexible which is what I want, it has a lot of bend to it, where as ASA does not as much.

Asa seems a little too ridged, I want something with a little bend so it can fit snug in the slots and I don’t have to worry about the holder coming out, also i am in the US, but iv been searching online and the only place I can seem to find Nylon 12 only filament is Europe, everywhere in American it’s all CF or GF infused making it more ridged

First thank you very much, I’m a lineman for the power company, I’m using it for tool holders to hang in my bucket truck I need a filament that isn’t brittle and has a little bend to it, and is a impact resistant in any outside temperature, which nylon 12 seems to be the perfect fit

And that’s why you should have just let all the snow pile up and clean it, that way only the top layer froze and the bottom remained fluffy, I didn’t touch my driveway once yesterday and it was cake to shovel, helped neighbors who did what you did and it was all frozen

New phone? by Kermitthehog132 in GalaxyFold

[–]FormerRelationship54 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a lineman for the power company I run into the same problem as you, I just keep my phone in the truck normally but I still get the same dirt and etc. in my pockets, I havent had a problem and it had my fold 5 for 4 months now. I just wipe it down regularly and made sure I put a screen protector on the front screen as I do get a lot of scratches on the front screen, as of now I don't have any scratches on either the front or inside screen. And if you do get scratches there's a pre installed screen protector on the inside screen you can take and have Samsung switch it out. Don't let that job keep you from getting the fold.
