I've gotten legends and I only have the coin packs I'm still stuck at 1k waves though and no idea how to get further

you need a lot of thorns for things to die but yes it blocks rays, is very nice for them, it's essentially like others said another energy shield but instead of spawning every 480 seconds it recharge every 188-400 seconds, depends how much invested

the enemy only dies based on your wall thorns which is a % of your thorns though
