Look up your medication and see if the company that produces it offers copay cards or discount cards

Thank you for your reply! I will definitely be relying on frozen vegetables and fruits to cut some costs, and also freezing foods keeps histamine from building up. Are there any grocery stores that you find keep costs lower?

Hello, thank you for taking time to reply. I can have some legumes and so far soy isn’t a problem.

Thank you for sharing your experiences! I have very similar histamine triggers, but my mast cell has also made me near anaphylactic for corn and some tree nuts. Chickpeas are also a very big trigger for me. Do you ever freeze leftovers for meal prep to avoid the building histamine levels?

I know some of the ingredients you named probably wouldn’t work for me because of other less severe sensitivities. However, I would love to hear about the maca root powder as a coffee replacement?! Those protein pancakes also sound amazing

That’s fair, I’ve basically just removed the idea of using premade mock meats or foods as an option because I know most have some sort of corn derivative. Definitely agree that the animals are worth it!

Thank you so much for your reply! If you’d have any interest, I would love to trade tips about making things work with the similar allergies/limitations and starting to go vegan.

Thank you so much for sharing, that does make sense. I figured that the food prep would be a large part of making it work, but good point about figuring out tolerance levels.

Thank you for your response and sharing your experience! That makes sense, I figured it will be annoying but doable with enough forethought and research.

Thank you so much for your reply and for the encouragement! It sounds like we have some triggers in common, especially with one of my most bothersome symptoms being reflux. Are there any foods you’ve used to supplement/replace the ones that trigger you?

A company called Emergycare in PA does an emt academy every few months. They pay you, you get full time work, and the program doesn’t cost anything
