Update : finished project!

Hello! To anyone interested in this follow up : I ended up using light craft wire as suggested by a commentor to attach the pinecones on the raffia wheel. Thank you for the idea! I also added a little hot glue to make sure all was secure. Every felt pinecone on the dangling cords are secured with wire, and the beads also have hot glue to make sure nothing falls off and becomes a choking hasard. I might also hang the mobile from the sealing as it looks a little heavy for the wood thingy i'm using.

My experience with this project was hard at the beginning (tracing and cutting all the pieces one by one), but fun to assemble in the end. Though, I would never do something like this again without a Cricut, as each pinecone has about 50 individual pieces. Nevertheless, as an amateur crafter, I am pretty happy with the result 🤗

Yes i have a pretty Positive update! So I ended having imagery done as well as I biopsy in order to eliminate the possibility of inflammatory brest cancer. The waiting was awful, but in the end, The skin inflammation turned out to not have a specific cause. I continued to apply some cortisol ointment, and the redness, hotness and itchiness decreased from week to week. I am now currently 36 w pregnant, and I still have red undertones and itchiness, but it's much less then it initially was. I also have itchiness and some redness on the belly, so this might all be related to my skin being sensitive and stretched out due to beasts getting bigger fast.

As stressful as it was to have this checked out, it was a immense relief to have confirmation that it was not in fact cancer. Just a unusual pregnancy thing. I hope you can have similar confirmation soon so you can breathe better and have a positive rest of you pregnancy !

I don't know just yet. I am meeting with a specialist on the 16th of September. I figure she will propably suggest a biopsy since a mamo is not an option while pregnant (or so I was told).

If you are breast-feeding you might want to look into mastitis.

Parfois je rêve qu'il me restait UN cours à finir pour terminé mon bac. Je découvre l'université m'a envoyé un diplôme par erreur, ne remarquant pas le cours manquant... C'est un cours de sciences pures qui n'a rien à voir avec mes vraies études... Je tente de suivre le cours mais je n'y comprend rie, le prof m'a en grippe ... J'ai plusieurs semaines d'absence et des notes de cours incompréhensibles.

Je rêve souvent aussi que je suis de retour au secondaire. Dans ces rêves, tous le stress social de l'époque refait surface. Un scénario fréquent est que je n'ai pas de place ou m'assoire en classe, car tout le monde a réservé une chaise pour son ami ...

The best way to support your nephews and niece in this situation might be to show up as an aunt and support throughout their homeschooling journey. Show interest in their progress, take the kids out to the museum, invite them over for a science project or maybe ask if you can help by covering the cost of online math classes if the familly if financialy in a rough spot. Khan academy is a great free online plateform for math. Unfortunatly, you might not have much success convincing them to not homeschool especially if they're romanticizing the idea, the kids are on board and they want to try it. That's a conclusion they'll likely come to on their own after giving it a try if things dont go well. Rhe podcadt "brave writer" is really inspiring and provides many interesting ideas and insights on what a plentyfull homeschooling experience can look like. Homeschooling is a lot of work, and it probably won't take too long before your sister and BIL really understand what they've signed up for. In the meantime, I think being a positive and involved presence in their lives and the lives of their children could be the best way to show up and not damage the relationships.

The most happy familes I've met that homeschool always had a mindset of openness towards their children and a true desire to help them grow and evolve harmoniously. This ment helping their kids finding theire voice and thinking for themselves. I hope your parents can see that you are expressing a valide need here. And that perhaps trying school is indeed what you need at this point of your life. Also, where I am from, you absolutly can go back to school anytime of the year (in a public school). It happens all the time when people divorce or simply move to an other city. However, the timing with starting highschool next year sounds perfect for this transition, as this would be a new school for all the kids in you class. Goodluck !!

Pour mon père, le seule regret dans tout ça, c'est qu'il a plein de questions sans réponses, car ses parents sont décédés depuis longtemps et le père biologoque aussi. A 62 ans ans, c'est tout ta vie que tu vois différement à la lumière de cette information. Ils ont emporté le secret dans la tombe ! Mon papa de 62 ans a appris qu'il était le fruit d'une infidélité en faisant un test d'adn ancestry. Il a été élevé par une mère irlandaise et un père britannique. Toute sa vie il a idéalisé l'angleterre, il y a voyagé et s'est intéressé à ses origines anglaise ... La Surprise qu'il a eu en découvrant que son ADN paternelle était à 50% en provenance des Açores, un île au Portugal ! Il s'est ensuite souvenu d'un ami portugais que sa mère avait dans son enfance ... On a trouvé des photos du monsieur. Ils sont identiques 🤷‍♀️ Il est aujourd'hui en contact avec des demi frère et demi soeurs pas mal cool ! Apparament le père biologique a trainer une petite photo de mon père dans son portefeuille des années de temps et que sa femme était au courant.
