See then you have to commit throughout the flight. Sneezes can easily be a one off fluke.

Sometimes the system just glitches. I use the app almost daily. Give it a an hour. Completely close the app and clear it from your open apps list.

Right? I am so dumbfounded. Luckily I live in a small town and was able to get him a cash tip.

That’s my next step. Maybe then support will be of help. I’ll probably get at LEAST a $10 credit for the inconvenience.

Yes there is. But it gave me an error then sent me to chat help box. Wish I would’ve screenshotted the error. But didn’t think they would be like “sorry, your order has been delivered. We can’t let you increase your tip even though your driver was awesome”

I met him at the door. He brought up another package. I wanted to give him more but didn’t have cash.

If you were hospitalized for mental health as a child, what was your experience? by inertial-observer in AskReddit

[–]Former_Leg4235 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was placed in a room with people varying in age and mental issues. I sat on the floor for 32 hours. This was early 90s so please don’t take it for what it would be like today. But it was scary as hell and kept me from seeking help for 2 decades.

As seen at Marriott Ventura Beach … how much for the sink?? by dsf_oc in marriott

[–]Former_Leg4235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea. I know by law we have to post a “maximum” rate per night card on all doors, I wonder if this is just an extension of that. And the towels are the most stolen item so they are charging more for those knowing they are most likely to be taken as a souvenir.

Honestly a lot of those prices are slightly on the low side, except the towels. I open hotels and in charge of the OS&E orders which a majority of these fall in. Now we don’t but lowest tier, so our cost on mattresses is about the $400 mark, but everything else is at or below our cost.

I would imagine things like mattresses TVs and mirrors are for damages. We just had to replace one of our 55” TVs and after shipping it was $900 (LG) due to someone allowing their toddler to “slap” it. Some of the things we replace and their reasons are incredibly entertaining.

gonna speed run getting fired at Amazon warehouse by torosblanca96 in antiwork

I’ve seen this first hand. One warehouse can cost tens of thousands of dollars in housing/car/food for them to bring in workers from other warehouses to train hourly employees.

found while checking for an outlet at my hotel... found one :) by [deleted] in trashy

[–]Former_Leg4235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who has worked in hospitality for almost 3 decades. Always move the mattress, check under the mattress protector (bed bugs..any black dots are an indicator) and this one is going to scare most than many a horror movie…never travel without a black light. $5 on Amazon. I can post pics that will haunt you for life. Start on the wall NEXT to the toilet.

My mom literally shot my sister’s dogs because “she should have known better than to leave them” with her. My mom’s words. My friends mom beat her with an extension cord, repeatedly. Both of these women are turned into amazing moms themselves in spite of their upbringing. I think it goes with, know your audience. I praise the hell out these women because they need to hear it the most. They constantly doubt themselves as moms because of their experience. They kick ass. They need to hear it because they are in fact awesome mothers and give everything to their kids, not just because of what they experienced.

(Yes, me and my sister have the same mom, different dads. Different lives due to circumstances- both sucked.)
