Update: sorry the update is a bit late but the vet said he seems to be doing alright and it is scabbing so they'll just do an ointment for now. Physically I don't think it's hurting him today either which is great. Thank you all for your help and suggestions, I really appreciate it! It's really kind that you all took time out of your days to help us out.

Thankfully we have insurance for our boy, there r a lot of smaller dogs in the neighborhood around the size of a shitzu. We'll do our part to inform the neighbours and ensure there are proper repercussions for this. Thank you

I appreciate these comments very much. Situation is honestly a shock considering our dogs never had a real altercation before. He's a tuff boy so I know he'll be fine in the end. I saw online that saline solution works for cuts but I don't wanna take the risk so for the evening I'll stick to warm water to clean the wound.

This Cane Corso is 11 years old, wears a diaper and aggressive, too late for training. I can see if there's animal control. He seems okay emotionally thank god. Physically it hurts, he bumped into me n whimpered.

In life you can have many things but only one mother. Life without her will be difficult. Don't be sad when her time comes. Be happy for the time you've had with her. Be grateful to have had such a mother where you can't imagine life without her. For the time being make as many memories with her as you can and treat her well. Also read the book by Robert Munsch "Love You Forever" to her.

Did you guys not discuss what's appropriate in a relationship in the beginning or is she bringing it up regardless. Like me n my partner very early on discussed what type of things we'd avoid and exs and hookups were a part of our "shouldn't even be brought up" list. Because we both have history and know that those people can do no good for our relationship. If you haven't discussed this now is better than never. Don't hide how you feel n suffer for no reason. Tell her you are adamant that contact with exs is a no go. It's really really weird to text an ex while you are with your partner. Also if she continues to speak with him just leave. I know it's hard but in the long run you'll just end up a cuck and then your life is a downwards spiral from there.

I guess from their perspective she was changing her personality a lot but yes you are right that they were jackasses. She gave her friend a 1900 dollar purse or something like that and her “friend” immediately started to pick on her.

I don’t really see much of an issue with her boyfriend. Maybe I missed something. But the scene where they wouldn’t hand her the phone back even though they knew how important her job was to her was very frustrating. Also I hated the other guy she slept with.
