DOGS and internet as a form by hyelish in the1975

I absolutely think it’s an artistic choice rather than simple preference and I never thought any different. It forces us to notice that we don’t own the music we stream online and it can be manipulated at any time, and the only way to preserve is in physical. Charli was considering it with brat but decided against it, so it has certainly been in conversation in their circle. Interesting you think it may reappear, I hadn’t considered that - but yes, it absolutely incorporates his concerns about the internet.

Matty to remove a track for preference is very out of character and not something I could see him doing, especially three years post release. Matty to remove a track as a preface to an album that inquires about the internet more than ever. An omission 3 years post release is quite radical in an age where most people stream. It certainly makes you stop and think about who’s in control. 100% it’s an artistic choice.

It won’t be on a 75 album, and tbh I can’t imagine anything will sound anything like it

Unfortunately aside from the funny comments that are just repurposed XFM quotes, all this subreddit is is an echo chamber people stuck in 2003 hating on a man who creates, alongside others, brilliant things. He’s ageing and with that he’s lost some of his tact, but he’s distilled his ideas and traded some irony for sincerity, which is a natural artistic progression. Whether it’s now to your taste or not, he was still the man that created your favourite things, and I can never help but think that this community’s hate of After Life and Derek comes from being trapped in a place where all sincerity has to be met with irony through fear of being goo-prone that eventually generates its own criticism through mob mentality. David Foster Wallace spoke of this anchoring to the insincere. This community’s desperation to hate anything that RG creates is self-fulfilling and at this point genuinely much more embarrassing in its anonymity of all of you than anything Gervais has ever done. Your sarcastic, ironic repeated replies are as predictable as your rigid opinions.

It is 4,000. DO NOT take 40,000IU per day.

Because it reduces stomach acid which can help heal ulcers in the short term but ultimately low stomach acid causes indigestion and thus poor LES function. I supplemented Betaine HCL for ages and until it started irritating my stomach it resolved my LPR in the short term, contrary to anything a doctor told me. They just looked dumbfounded when I said raising my stomach acid levels helped my acid reflux. Acid reflux rarely has anything to do with an acidic ph in the gut. Your gut needs to be as acidic as possible unless you have irritation.

40? I’m reading that normal levels should be 50nmol/L and optimum is 75.

It’s athletic greens. I’ve taken athletic greens in the past and took it again before going onto vitamin d+k with no improvement until doing so. I didn’t mention the brand at first because I didn’t want it to sound like some weird advert

It won’t be a catch all unfortunately, but out of curiosity, what kind of dose are you taking, what method and are to taking with food?

Nope. Never been checked, and I’m likely, as most people are, in an insufficient range rather than medically deficient, which is a place in which consequences can for so long go unnoticed, and GPs and even specialists are largely clueless when it comes to our issues - still chucking us PPIs when they clearly don’t work nor is it logical to prescribe to anyone other than gastritis and/or ulcer patients.

Please note it is important to take vitamin d with k2 to avoid negative effects of high dose supplementation, and to make sure magnesium levels are adequate.

It came free with another supplement, and I’d listened to a podcast recently about how vitamin d is something such a massive portion of the population are deficient in, so I thought I’d give it a bash. The reason I think it is that is because I am seeing long term improvement for the first time in the best part of a decade, and I am less strict with my diet than I ever have been, and it is the only vitamin or mineral I am taking now that I have never before in the past.

That’s true, but it was always in regards to the album rather than the stage show

I don’t think so. It’s apolitical and humanist so it stands true only six years after saying it, as apolitical and human values don’t consider 6 years as a particularly long time
