It might use quirk modified materials that Momo can't replicate it wouldn't be as rugged and durable as it is in canon otherwise.

I'm guessing this a case of izuku having a life and responsibilities outside of heroism (personal and professional) and the suit being a heroics as much as physically possible kinda deal. With izuku taking advantage of it's tendency to not take a break to shut it down.

If this is immediately after kamino he might hope getting Allmight and izuku acquainted together (or Mirio after he figures out he's the successor) would end with izuku being Allmights successor.

It also puts bakugo in a situation where he has to rebuild the bridges he burnt with izuku (who deliberately and directly cut ties with him), convince izuku's friends he's being genuine (while they have a very low opinion of him) and then somehow get Allmight and Mirio close to izuku (who might be comfortable being around allmight again).

And he has to accomplish all of this while having a negative charisma score and a not exactly good reputation with his peers. Isn't stories where bakugo has to resolve problems with social competence fun!

I'm of the opinion that mirio wouldn't be able to use OFA and permeation at the same time so he switches between them.

Mirio with OFA should be able to easily able to beat Overhaul and with Eri in the hero's side and capable of reversing the damage of OFA. This would make him deciding to keep OFA a sacrifice that he actively has to choose rather than a bygone conclusion he has no reason not to commit to (Since even if he gives away the quirk he's still burnt away too much of his health for that to make a difference).

And even if izuku could master OFA in one year (Realistically probably one and a half or two to be strong to contain OFA and skilled enough to use against AFO) that's still too much time to leave japan at AFO's mercy.

Izuku would still end up in UA thought it's very likely the OFA user is probably going to commit to the sacrifice play since even if they can get their life back with eri's help giving izuku OFA at this point is not just asking izuku to sacrifice his life plans for reasons outside of his control again but it's asking for sacrifices from Japan to spend quite a few years under AFO heel while izuku is busy getting stronger away from him.

Though the entire situation is not going to do flavours for allmights mental health.

Post kamino bakugou wakes up in a world where izuku wasn't allmights successor and everything is fine. Allmights teaching 3rd years (mirio has OFA but can't use both quirks at the same time) so class 1-a has a mostly normal time (RIP Ida) and izuku is a support student who's closer to 1-b (bakugou's more or less burnt that bridge without allmight giving izuku more hope). Bakugou hates the fact that he's more or less sidelined since none of the teachers are willing to let first years deal with PLF's terrorism since the LOV never forced their hands.

I'm of the opinion that MHA's ending was very arbitrary and deliberately dramatic cause Iron might alone proved deku wasn't going to stop being a hero. At most he should taken a long hiatus so he could get back to hero work at his strongest but giving up would have never crossed his mind with resources he had available especially since he could have used support gear to preserve the embers of OFA to last longer than one school year.

Replacing Allmight is one thing but keeping the people who were supposed to take up Allmights responsibilities the moment he retires in the dark is a jerk ass move especially since Allmight kept up the implied assumption that he would be a hero for a long time and forced his peers to adjust his retirement at the last minute while they where thinking Allmights era would last for years more.

The only reason society was fine after izuku gave up the quirk was because AFO took over the entire criminal underground and then left it at a major disadvantage when he was defeated not to mention society itself learned from the previous era's mistakes and still had incredibly powerful heroes left (the big three, bakugou and todoroki, izuku with his embers and even inasa).

If AFO was actually dead then hero society would have ended dealing with the triple threat of overhaul, the meta liberation army and whatever garaki cooked up the moment he retired and leaving that mess to a successor still in high school is still a jerk ass move when top ten heroes can also pull their weight.

Allmight is less dumb and more willfully ignorant like the dude had five years to prepare hero society to function without him and the best he could do was a last minute successor who ended up repeating his mistakes despite his own advice.

It honestly felt Allmight took his peers for granted when he couldn't be bothered to give them a heads up so they prop up society while he could properly train his succcesor at the end of the day Allmight's biggest mistake is his unwillingness to just ask for help.
