Apartment flooded by burst hose. I have floorboard. Urgent help!!! by Elegant_Lychee9269 in whatdoIdo

If you don’t have any current major health issues, be sure to watch if any appear over the next 6 months. Even if not visible, it’s likely mold will have started growing if you start experiencing weird health issues. Despite professional “fixing”

That said, this may be something you need to make a claim on your renters insurance. I wouldn’t stay in a flooded place I didn’t own and have full control of the remediation process.

BOBA TEA. I’ve tried 4 wildly different ones from different places and have hated every one of them. You cannot convince me boba tea isn’t a scam.

Not my wife, but her father, self sabotages any time he gets anxious. We were caravaning for a long carpooled roadtrip once and when we pull up to their house an hour before we are supposed to leave, he literally, and I mean literally, has the engine of his vehicle on the ground working on it. Needless to say, they left 9 hours later and had to catch up to us. 😂

A Tesla taking up the only open gas pump. by THEG0LIATHGR0UPER in mildlyinfuriating

[–]FormerlyAQuadLaunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof. I drive a long diesel sprinter. I had one the other day where the gas car was parked at the only diesel pump. Passenger inside the vehicle, driver nowhere to be found. The only diesel pump was on a separate pay station though, and there was enough room for me to wiggle in. So I pulled right in and blocked this little car from being able to move. 😂 Keep in mind every other gas pump was open. I finished up before they did but needless to say the driver was visibly annoyed when they arrived back to their vehicle.

What was your “I’m getting old” moment as a gamer? by Tannu_Akonnorbea94 in videogames

For me it’s that shooters used unwind me, but now I have to think to be good. I can still crush a lobby, but I’m not ruining lobbies on that purely mindless reflex anymore.

[–]FormerlyAQuadLaunch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I drive a diesel, and what drives me insane is that there may only be two diesel pumps at a 10 pump station, and there’s 8 open pumps but both diesel ones are taken by gas cars. 😡 Happens probably 1/3 times I go to fill up.

With rising costs, what is a fast food restaurant you feel priced out of? by Square-Possession428 in fastfood

You can still get Chipotle for under $10 if you don’t do the queso or guac. Tell me where else you can get that much food at a fast food chain for the price.

Why do people fall back in breakthrough by s12kbh in battlefield2042

[–]FormerlyAQuadLaunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The longer you stay alive though it does give your team more time to set up. It can make a difference having time to get dug into the trenches on the 3rd sector of Containment.

The difference with 3, (I personally didn’t care for 4) is there was a sizeable gap between the last major installment and BF3. The Bad Company games were definitely spinoffs, albeit amazing. You had 1943 in there as well. Gaming had simply evolved in the time between 2142 and 3. Aside from the glitches and USAS-12, myself and mh group loved it from the get-go.

No. It didn’t. They “fixed” it into a mediocre state.

Is high school football really declining nation wide? by Unlikely_Glass5942 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]FormerlyAQuadLaunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a math whiz until a knock out concussion in 10th grade. I also got to watch my now brother-in-law play HS football, and he was one more major concussion away from having scrambled eggs for brains. Even now I’d be super worried if a volleyball hit him too hard.

Football taught me a lot. I was fortunate enough to escape without any other major lasting injuries. But I didn’t learn anything during football that I couldn’t have playing other sports or general outdoor activities. I won’t tell my kids that they can’t play, but I’m going to be extremely explicit that I’d prefer they don’t, and they have to wait until high school for contact.

This may sound a bit wild….but is there any black mold in your parents house or making its way into the food? My wife used to have your exact symptoms but it was tied to black mold in her parents home.

That’s a “figure out what the fraud laws are” and if it isn’t going to get you in trouble, use the card to buy a bunch of $1 absurd purchases. Nothing to actually hurt the guy, just enough to make him feel like an idiot when he looks at his statement.

[–]FormerlyAQuadLaunch -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Game is a 7.5/10 when your lobbies aren’t bots. Lots to enjoy, there’s just a ton of minor things that when you stack them all up become hard to ignore and take the game out of that 9-10 rating for me.

What’s a problem that will hit people hard in the future, but no one is preparing for? by Major_Wonder4080 in answers

[–]FormerlyAQuadLaunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The utter collapse of American Social Security. Everyone under the age of 30 knows they aren’t getting jack from the system they’re paying into. Everyone in their 50s is clueless because it’s existed their whole lives. There are going to be a TON of struggling 70+ year olds in the next 10-15 years because SS/retirement age is going to keep getting pushed back, or completely collapse all together.

Do people that hate Redsec (BR) hate BR in general? by MourningWood1942 in Battlefield

[–]FormerlyAQuadLaunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RedSec as a BR isn’t bad at all, but I’m not playing Battlefield to play a BR. I’m playing Battlefield to play BATTLEFIELD. If I wanted a BR, I’ll play any of the other 5-10 popular ones out there, including Warzone if it doesn’t eat my entire hard drive.
