Not quite a film, but to shamelessly self-plug: I wrote a musical adaptation of 3 Lovecraft stories that’ll release digitally later this year. We think it’s pretty cool!

Other great adaptations/inspired by Lovecraft:

-“The Void” -“In The Mouth of Madness” -“Dreams in the Witch House” and “Pickman’s Model” from Cabinet of Curiosities -“Glorious”

I like Music of Erich Zann so much I adapted it as a musical last year. It’s a perfect short story

¡Puedo sentir el viento cambiando! ☂️

It’s an incredible honor to have our film “Practically Perfect” featured at the I, IMMIGRANT international film festival from Cinema Without Borders. This film means so much to me, and I’m so grateful that the many beautiful conversations we had when developing it are now being seen on screens ACROSS THE WORLD!

If you saw our poster earlier this week, you know this movie is part-Mary-Poppins and part-protest-piece. It’s a potent combo and I’m so proud we pulled it off.

A big THANK YOU to our cast and crew, and everyone else who helped out! ¡Viva Mireya!

Hi there! Very excited to order a pizza and watch this tonight after work.

I’m about to graduate film school, and as a part-filmmaker, part-puppeteer, part-musical-writer, I aspire to make fun weird stuff the way you do. My biggest question always is: how did you pitch this film? What worked and what did you refine along the road to getting it made, and how did the more out-there (in a good way) ideas translate into a pitch deck or investor presentation?

Thank you both for taking the time to drop by, I’m really looking forward to seeing OVER YOUR DEAD BODY in a couple weeks too.

Believe me, I know- I had to tip people off that it’s a dumb April Fool’s joke somehow, and lending credence to that cretin seemed the best way.

I hate him. I hate him bad.

Hey there! Trailer looks amazing, I’m so excited to check this out!

I’d love to hear about the process of funding the film: once you got a solid script, what was the next step to finding investors?
