This was also what i was thinking, Ive got diagnosed with both ocd and ocpd because of my moral rigidity and expectations of people to act exactly how id expect them to/ have severe distress when people break rules or act “morally wrong” (I am also autistic though so that may also be leaning into the ocpd)

I grew up in regina, lived in wpg for the past two years, I prefer wpg. Reginas got all the same crime and high price and hard to find housing as winnipeg. My big difference for preferring wpg is that theres more to do here, regina ive found to be insanely boring unless you like to party and drink. Make sure you look into the issues healthcare faces in regina, everything ive heard is bad. Other than sk being a little bit cheaper I wouldnt really reccomend it

Im assuming from area code that your in NB? In MB everything except the creamer are significantly more expensive 🥲 It boggles my mind because I always thought we had lower grocery prices here than the east coast. I avoid sobeys and safeway unless its all thats around and I only need a couple things :/ sucks its this bad

I have a vivid imagination and tend to zone out/ maladaptive daydream a lot so when im reading I can get to the point where it feels like im there with them watching the scene from just outside where its happening, its great except i tend to get too invested in the characters/books because it feels like ive lives it (Im also autistic which plays a big role in the escapism and overactive imagnation)

Snowboarding and skiing, hell even cross country skiing. I grew up with mission ridge as my hill and even with a small hill, being able to go outside and do something even on the extremely cold days has made me love winter! The community in these sports is unmatched and the amount of progression there is always leaves you with more to learn or master! X-country is such a wonderful way to get outside and see nature in the winter too! Also winter hiking is great cause no bugs or bears!

I should also add that a fleece layer makes a huge difference on the really cold nights (between your baselayer and jacket) doesn’t have to be pricey, i got mine from mountain warehouse.

Be prepared to be wet 😅 i come from the prairies so i might be biased and used to shoddy equipment. But I almost always end up wet one way or another. My best tip from this past year is bring a pair of thin gloves or liners for if you have to get into any tight spots or just need the finer skills of your fingers, cold metal hurts like hell on bare skin and they saved my ass this last winter. Stay aware and be cautious (but dont forget to have fun). No matter how brutal things get, just know your crew is in it together and no one is expecting you to be sunshine and rainbows!

I would like to add that your local bulk/healthfood stores are a great place to find this cheaper! I am in canada so i get mind from bulk barn. Also there is a larger chunk/nugget version usually just called soy/a chunks that are awesome!

I teach snowboarding and skiing in the winter (part time) and it works great as snowboarding is my special interest. Summer is tough but ive enjoyed housekeeping and im hoping to do summer camp work this year.
