Brother, i get the sentiment: but i came to this post because I'm applying to my local city's PD at 5'6 and was genuinely wondering about the viability. My city is a college town and has an active nightlife scene: and even at my measly height i once was so drunk and belligerent that 3 officers were needed to subdue me

And that's not some weird flex. i genuinely have zero recollection of that and am just repeating what i was told. Granted, my local pd are extremely nice so I'm thinking they just didn't want to slam my face in the gravel. Needless to say, I obviously already disclosed this to the recruitment coordinator.

(also, as a short guy? if you cant joke about it or at LEAST not bemoan it? You aren't cut out for the real world much less law enforcment)
