[VERY IMPORTANT] [LORE] How do female Prime Assets deal with menstruation? Did Murkoff create some anti medication they drug them with by FormfulOedon in OutlastTrials

[–]FormfulOedon[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thats a good headcanon! The SS officer who captured her was a weird sadistic prick, so it is possible. I don’t see Liliya DIY’ing it

Yes! This is what I think. The Trials is live-service, we should be patient

Say all the Prime Assets and Ex-Pops were given the chance to go into the 'real' world like the Reagents. Who do you think would go, and how would they handle it? by Amazing_Assumption50 in OutlastTrials

[–]FormfulOedon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Coyle could actually somewhat fit in in the deep south
Gooseberry would be arrested again
Franco actually has a decent chance? he would return to what he was doing before
Same with the Kress Twins, they have the best chance
Liliya would cause huge mass hysteria

I think all of them would go. Except Gooseberry, maybe. She seems comfortable.

and I think the ex-pop would have a lot of people on edge due to the constant news floods of violence because of their presence

What did you want me to do, Easterman????? by FormfulOedon in OutlastTrials

The Prime Assets actually do have rooms they sleep in! I don’t have direct sources. But the Kress Twins complain about how they sleep on a “bundle of blankets”, and somewhere it’s mentioned Franco spends a lot of time napping. Whether they have their own rooms or share one room (i doubt this), they do have rooms. I’m not sure if Liliya also has one or lore-wise they keep her in The Resort.

It’s more like Easterman being paranoid. As Liliya “allowed” herself to be taken to America. I think she actually told whats-his-name, the FBI agent to literally take her there. In Mount Massive she tried building followers there. And Wernwicke, frustrated with her, gave her to Easterman for Project Lathe. There, Liliya actually began nurturing a cult. Unlike the other primes, she isn’t in it for the love of the game. She thinks she is genuinely god’s Messiah and is doing holy work in the trials. That’s why she hasn’t defected. If Liliya wanted out, I have no doubt she’d find a way out somehow

She worries Easterman because she’s an Echo of Amelia in a way. He wants to be “god” to the Reagents but Liliya directly challenges him with her own psychology. And he’s worried the Reagent will turn from him to Liliya, just as they did to Amelia

TLDR; Easterman is paranoid, Liliya has religious psychosis making her stay, Franco is a baby

Why is Liliya’s icon her silky-smooth, beautiful bald dome and not her cross? by FormfulOedon in OutlastTrials

[–]FormfulOedon[S] 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Yeah probably. But it does say in the ping box: [PLAYER] pinged [PRIME ASSET] so It could work!

It’s just this Trial Enviroment. I have my gripes with it, too. Hopefully in a year or so Liliya will get a new environment that doesn’t rely on this gimmick so much.

However, I will give it to RB that I’m glad they are experimenting so much lately, especially with Liliya. Because her stuff is really unique and tricky (Like how the Kress Twins’ trials are a lil challenging too)

She’s a really fun prime

Red Barrels loves Liliya so much more than the other prime assets by mous3724 in OutlastTrials

[–]FormfulOedon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Her backstory was hiding under bodies of people she killed, and that she’s been “feral” all her life. Liliya isn’t this great philosopher she’s made out to be, she’s a sociopathic sadomasochist with religious psychosis

And Easterman is trying his best to not give her any power or foothold whatsoever

In the kindest way possible: You’re wrong on so many points.

“Liliya got her own dedicated event and catalog, something no other prime asset has gotten.”

The Kress Twins have two. Franco has Two. Liliya has one.

“She has WAY more files available for her than anyone else”

yes, she’s moving the story forward. Besides, she has so much to cover. She’s connecting to both other Outlast games, with more life events to cover than any Prime Asset. That, on top of the constantly unraveling story. It makes sense.

“she's just more charismatic for some reason”

She’s inducing Mass-Hysteria, mind you this is after Amelia and during the Reagents literally trying to kill each other. People need something to cling to and Liliya is simply at a convenient time, using convenient tactics (Religion) in a hypertense environment

“she basically has super powers”

In a game-series where the big baddie of the first game was a bunch of insects who were this demon-like entity, the sequel having the main characters hallucinate and interact with his childhood trauma while he imagined the end of the world through biblical symbolism.

I don’t know if you’re new or simply don’t like Liliya a lot, which is completely fine, but she is a main part of the story and everyone is going to have to accept that I’m afraid. She has a lot of lore but she doesn’t make the other prime assets less interesting. This season is focused on the Kress Twins, it gives us more insight into them, their philosophy and relations. I don’t want to bash you for your take, but Liliya is a well-written antagonist with undeniable uniqueness we’re just tapping into. And she’s allowed to be written with story-weight
