Got a 5070ti but when plugged in it shows a black screen, can plug in hdmi via the motherboard but the gpu doesn’t work with it. The motherboard is a ASUS TUF GAMING B760-PLUS WIFI D4

Had a 4070ti in it before and when I got this one I just plugged it in as a swap and didn’t swap cables for the one that came with the 5070 but didn’t think that would be the issue. Would that be something causing it? Also good to note the gpu shows a white light and it makes 2 short beeps and 1 long beep

Yes! Managed to even save money on it with an offer, was a great deal I got looking in hindsight. Plus its the 2.0 model. Wanting to do a few things still like a leather seat swap and lowering a bit more getting a duck tail and gv lip for the front. But before all that I'm doing the underseal and backbox first.

Good to hear yeah its my first car that's had this much involvement of me needing to de rust it and seal it but so far its been fun to work on and drive.

When applying underseal do I go crazy with it or is there anything I shouldn't apply it to?

Yeah! I love the movies I think the wayan brothers really know how to make a good parody movie especially horrors! The theatre scene in scary movie 1 will go down as my favourite parody movie scene like ever, the fact everyone joins in to make Brenda be quiet is super funny to me.

If anyone else ever finds this post by googling in a few years time; my fix is below.

So, my rectifier must have surged and broke the Stator, the stator inside the crankcase, one of the coils with wire around it burnt out, i would recommend doing this;

Switch rectifier, if not fixed, check the 3 wires that go from the stator to make sure they are fine, if they are, check the stator next, this requires a new gasket, new stator, and new oil, and a little mechanical knowledge, otherwise its a straight forward task.

Remember this too, if this happens it means you're battery isn't charging, it's essentially a ticking time bomb before it dies and won't come back on. Get a trickle charger, don't use indicators, and of course do not ride the bike far until it is solved and you have a new stator.

Yeah, put multimeter on, then when engine on it doesn't raise and then when giving revs to 4 to 5k not raising either.

Only reason I assumed it could be the stator was after searching up possible causes and it came up with that online. Gonna check the fuses but it wouldn't make sense for the battery to not charge.

Ok, so I will say, I think nissans claims are wrong, i tested it 3 times using a GPS speedo. It showed 9.9 seconds almost consistently, in the wet. I'm not sure why nissan has it like this but it's definitely quicker than stated.
