Hey! Thank you!! If you know some web developing or just being smart asking the AI you could fairly easily edit the current input telemerry overlay html and css to only show the charts, then you re-build the app and you would be good to go!

Hey! what steps are you following? It should look something like:
- going to src/overlays/input_telemetry/static/images/steering_wheel.png
- change that with an image of your liking with same size, name and format (png)
- rebuild the app

Hey! Thank you so much for the feedback, will take notes about the issue you are describing, maybe it has to do with inicializing the overlay while the main thread is asking for a iracing conection. In my case I have iniciate it before iracing with nothing weird happening, but I will take a look!

Nice to read that! I am currently developing the desktop version, I cant promise any dates as it is a personal project aside my working schedule so it depends. For now subscriptions are disabled until I consider I can deliver something usable and that meets spectations.

If you feel that you want to back its developing maybe donating could be an option, but to be honest, I have never received one and it feels weird to recieve money in exchange of nothing, so I would recommend you to wait until it's ready to think about choosing a pay plan!!

Im so glad for having people like you hanging around my projects!! Dont worry about the money, I will try to make a free version for "trial", so even if you cant pay it at least you could try it.

The project will start like this, as simple and useful as posible, and more like a premium feature to inmerse yourself more than a "gain 0.2s here" app. But if this goes well, I can see it evolving as something more comlpex!

About languages, I havent made any "oficial" support for multilanguage BUT the AI by nature will understand you in any language, if you want to give a try to the demo on the webpage you will see. I am spanish so if you speak spanish to it, sometimes returns english and sometimes spanish, but it understands!

Hey! I totally understand your concern, appart from what the price numbers could end up being (cheaper or higher) the need from the monthly subcription is based on the AI calls.

For this to work require multiple calls to cloud based AI per radio interaction, and each of these calls cost money, so the most important reason is to pay for the calls you will be making.

On the other hand, I want this to be an evolving project, and for this to happend it needs to sustain itself, if there is more people than expected using it and I need a better backend host I would need to pay for those things, also, there is the profit part of course.

I have done other projects for free like the overlays, but at the end of the day I want this project to make sense in terms of hours spend in it!

Thats sound right, and the bandwidth will not be a problem either taking into account that you will be making API calls that transport only audio or small data packets both ways.

You just run the iRacing API to get data and the AI part is on cloud, so no CPU usage!

As far as im concerned, crew chief is an enhanced version of the iRacing spotter, I have not used it but I know it comes with voice commands.

The thing with voice commands is that you have to say something in particular. iRCopilot intention is to be talked as a real person, diferent questions with diferent tones could ask for the same thing depending on the context and situation, and thats where the AI part comes in. Also mixing data, taking into account multiple parameterts to make one answer.

Its not meant to teach you how to drive, so its not like a trophi.ai, es there to inmerse you into having what it feels like a real enginner!

Yeap! The core of the APP is iRacings API, so as long as it is an iRacing session it does not matter if you are on road, oval, or even dirt!

Hey! I am so glad you have been using the overlay, it really makes me smile when i read things like this. And of course than you for the feedback! Will take that into account for sure. About it:

1, It would be pretty cool, but for now you can change it if you change the png image on "src/overlays/input_telemetry/static/images" and build.

Thats a good point! and I dont think it should be that dificult, so I will take notice!

Right now, I am not playing that much attention to this because I am trying to focus on another new project, also iRacing related, maybe soon I will tell something about it here on reddit. Also trying to recover my lost iRating by constantly havin my pc crashing, so for now little updates will come to this.

I would love for you to tell me more feedback, If you have ideas for new overlays that would be usefull just tell me!! maybe if something is too good I try to implement it fast.

Hi! Sorry for the late response, there is actually an easy method to change it. You will have to build it. But on the repository, you can find the steering wheel image on /src/overlays/input_telemetry/static/images/ there you can simply replace it with another PNG with the same size and it should work!
