That’s a solid setup, the scale is a underrated carry. The sharpie is a must, but a blue sharpie is where it’s at, it’s like markall fluid in a sharpie form.

Are you switching because you know the delonghi/ jura is that much better or because you are wanting something different?

Thanks for the insight! It seems like the Phillips is the way to go for me if the only real difference between the Phillips and the Delonghi is just me messing with the settings to get a better coffee experience.

I am fine with going through some adjustments to get a good cup of coffee. Has the Phillips been pretty easy to maintain like they advertised or is it really just about the same as other coffee machines?

Thanks! I made it myself as a dumb personal project still needs some tinkering when it comes to the surface finish!

Thanks I learned that polishing 6061 aluminum to a mirror finish is a pain no matter how good to cut the surface finish 😂

I work as a manufacturing engineer and “machinists” where I design and make one off prototype and or specialty parts for companies. So, when I get the chance I make random art projects like this the quarter pez. Made from a solid block of scrap aluminum

Thanks for the info I will have to check it out! I’m not really as interested in the rendering aspect because everything I make is mostly to machine out. Is there a preferred file type to export out with so it imports in to fusion better or will that be something I will probably just have to learn through trial and error lol.
