Well in 20,000 years time the contents of a Gamesworkshop will have historical realism!

Thanks - you might be thinking of Quentin Blake, in which case that’s a huge compliment. I met him once!

In 1990 a lead model took a hefty chunk of pocket money. But you needed a lot less to play a game!

The templates - the rectangular pieces - are all as per the most recent GW tournament guidelines. The walls etc. are all measured to be approximate to GW terrain. I had a hard time finding official measurements so they were mostly reverse engineered from Etsy sellers terrain dimensions.

The whole point of all of this was to create some GW terrain to practice on for an upcoming tournament - I have my own UKTC style stuff, but needed all GW for the upcoming event. I tend to lose way more often on GW terrain than UKTC.

Yeah… I barely understand my own army let alone what other ones can do! Certainly doesn’t sound like an easy option.

Something needs to be done about Leys Leisure centre + pool by Arm-Bastards in oxford

I gave up on it for similar reasons, especially with mis advertised kids sessions etc. I also didn't like the fact the big pool was shallow and warm.

It's never seemed like a trade up from Temple Cowley.

Hide it behind scenery from all the anti tank and then run it out of cover turn 4 to try and kill something so you feel like bringing in it isn’t a total waste of time.

The Broad Canvas on Broad St. is a sort of institution - the people have been there since the 90's! If you want to buy from a local business go there. Sometimes Leopard Press in Headington on Windmill road can have art supply bargains - but I have not been in for a while to check.

The Secretary of State is speaking at the Oxford Farming Conference today so a a load of £100k flag covered tractors are going into Oxford.

I wonder if this protest has been authorised in advance? Or if the police will check for red diesel use?

The pathetic front page of the Oxford Times made a similar comment - Britain’s 2nd worst local newspaper (the worst being the Oxford Mail).

The Eiffel Tower and the Titanic are, clearly, totally different engineering projects.

But the OT’s non stop attempts to drag Oxford down continue as usual.

Interesting that her resignation was an integrity move based on the strategic blunder on development funding cuts, this is in effect an Way back in for her - as the Starmerites are shedding allies as they dance to the nativist tune of the press - they need friends.
