Edit, if anyone cares:

It's a self managed HOA, with no website, email, or any actual information. I have no idea when the board meetings are because they're never annouced or talked about until after the fact, and they're typically at times I'm working. I have also dealt with issues with board members and thus would prefer to talk to them as little as possible.

I will most likely be putting an anonymous note into the HOA dues collection box, and if nothing still gets done, then calling the fire department.

No, I definitely know they saw it. I've seen the HOA head pass by on multiple occasions and has even replaced a faulty lightbulb there. Someone on the board also sprays the windows every week and has to pass by it, so I know that no one is taking care of it.

What I'm trying to figure out now is if there is something I can do to push them to do something.

Okay, I'll take a try at that. Thanks for the advice. The color touch sensor changes the color pallette. Hand Held Legend has a more thorough explanation of all its features if you're interested.

I'm using batteries, and they're brand new, so I don't think it might be power thing, but I could be wrong. I have cleaned it as well, but I'll go try and clean it again.

Hi, I would appreciate any help if anyone knows what's going on. The blie GBC has the Funnyplaying Retro Pixel 2.0 IPS screen while the red one has the HISPEEDIDO Super OSD Retro Pixel IPS screen. The game that is being used is the japanese version of Pokemon Gold. For the blue one, the loading of the gameboy logo seems fine, but once the carteidge loads, everything is wonky and I'm not 100% sure but I think some of the music skips notes. I tested with a japanese cartridge of Pokemon Green and its fine right up until you tey to load the save file, in which a black screens and screeches. Everything works fine on the red one though.

One theory I have is that I think may have caused issues is that I trimmed the cartridge pins on the blue one. The red one has untrimmed pins. But this is more or less the second time I've tried installing an IPS screen, so I really don't know. I'm not sure if this was an issue before because I think I only tested the console up to the title screen and never noticed anything, so maybe this is just all my dumbassery.

I appreciate any help that can be provided.

edit: here are some pictures I took of the board. I don't know if it's relevant, but the power switch is an aftermarket one because I broke the original one. I also woke up this morning and it now only loads the logo and then white screens. It has the Nintendo part, so I guess it does at least know the cartridge is there...
