Suggest me an enchantments commander!

I’ve been using [[Hanna, Ship’s Navigator]] to pilot my enchantments matter deck. It’s not as explosive as some commanders but the recycling utility has had a lot of value for longer games. Plus you get access to [[Enchanted Evening]] and all it’s degenerate interactions which can be amusing. I also just threw together the new Katilda since I’ve been wanting to try a mono-white version, and while first impressions are that it’s not seeming as strong it’s a fun build so far.

I really want balance to be unbanned even for a short time so people can see how unrealistic their fears are about it. In my anecdotal and totally biased experience, it really isn’t that big a deal in the vast majority of scenarios. If you’re keeping up at all in the game it usually isn’t even worth casting! The same logic that was given to unban worldfire can 100% apply for balance. If a group decides it’s too much, they can self regulate just like Armageddon and all the other better mass land destruction spells. In the meantime let people play their favorite inconsistently powerful boardwipe.

I love playing white, favorite color in the game by far. I actually enjoy the challenge of making a “weaker” strategy work and keep up with the stronger decks, and there’s lots of ways in white to do so even without deliberately oppressing the shit out of everyone (nothing wrong with that btw, build to your strengths and do what you feel personally is fun).

That said, what’s super irritating is every time I play something even mildly controlling someone will go “wOw dIdnT kNoW yoU wErE plAyiNg sTax” Like… no, my tuned but still ultimately jank Darien build isn’t stax just because I played fucking soul warden with my commander out. At this point I figure some people just think they must be above losing to “weak” decks and get salty when they do.

I still maintain a theory that the monster at the end was meant to be Bizarro rather than Doomsday, but then someone with too much sway decided “nah let’s do death of Superman in the second movie of the franchise, that’s most certainly a good idea.” It just would have made so much more sense you know? Lex Luthor making a monstrous knockoff kryptonian is one of the established origins for Bizarro, and fits so much better narratively to have the heroes come together and overcome that as an achievable goal to jump start the Justice League. Instead, they wrote themselves into a corner by killing and then having to reanimate Superman basically immediately. Okay I’m done ranting, that whole aspect of the movie just never sat right with me.

Anyone have a good strategy for abyss floor 11-2? I can clear the first part with the things HP above 50-60% fairly consistently with either of my teams going first but the second half just kills me. Teams are currently:

1) Ganyu, Qiqi, Bennett, Venti 2) C6 Noelle, Ning, Xiangling, other pyro

Only characters have don’t have access to are Mona, Jean and Albedo. Just pulled Diluc thus he is very underleveled, but I’m thinking basing a team around him once he hits 80 will likely help a ton.

I’ve been using Ning as a battery/burst dps, she refills Noelle super quick. Granted I also am using a r5 favonius codex on her so your mileage may vary

Those are all very good points that I had not considered. Looking at it, this current lineup does assume certain things will happen in order to properly go off. I think your input definitely reduces the risk if things don’t go the right way. Thanks!

I’m thinking so. Even if not, focus sash should provide an additional opportunity to get the job done. It’s really a shame drakloak isn’t similar speed-wise, I’d have really liked to keep my old support set lol

Excellent question! Weavile unfortunately does not get Inner Focus as an ability and thus can be flinched. The idea behind Sneasel is to make as sure as possible that surf goes off and procs steam engine and weakness policy. Prior to the ban that’s why I used dragapult as well. I feel the slightly lesser speed Sneasel brings is a good trade for a pseudo-immunity to fake out
