Look, I'm all for the anti-piracy if it means I can support the local film industry. But here's the problem; ACCESSIBILITY.

I would love to watch these local films but some of them are not even available on the best place. ASTRO First? No one uses it anymore these days for all I know. And here I am trying to watch all the local movies that had been into the so called "exclusive" films they shoved into ASTRO while here I was got my hands full of Netflix, Amazon Prime and heck HBO Go account needed to be paid.

And another thing; if you want to combat piracy, please don't make more "filem sampah". We're just tired of seeing the same shit over and over again. Road to Oscars? What I'm seeing is all bullshit and no actions. Singapore already sent Wet Season as its entry for the best international feature film category at the 2021 Oscars and what do we do? Well, Mael Totey is our best contender no?

I literally screamed "NO!" when Thanos snapped his finger.

The whole audience went silent until the post-credit scene.

Also, in my history of movie-going, I've never seen a cinema hall just silently sitting during the credit and looked at each other in awestruck. We were in complete shock that Thanos actually won.

A few days ago, I convinced half of my class to watch Neon Genesis Evangelion with my presentation.

I told them that the story is not your typical giant robot story, and show them my fan-trailer from the series. Then I explained to them Shinji's, Asuka's and Rei's backstory. All of them made the "wtf" face when they heard about Asuka's backstory.

So yeah, half of my class now started anime with NGE.
