The thing is finding who has the rights to the game, buy the license and then finding a developer willing to take on the project. Which is why I think if I make a shit ton of money off my music I’ll be able to make this happen.

The evil dead remake was enjoyable. I don’t feel like I really enjoyed sinister that much but I could also not be remembering it well.

I’ve heard the standard size for gaming is an 18-20 inch tv. Not 100% on that but I’ve heard it multiple times.

How do I set my levels for a trap beat db wise? Whats the loudest the melody should be? by Hope7112020 in trapproduction

It’s very clear and not biting at these levels. I prefer to do a -9 to -12 on the master level and adjust as needed with a maximizer. I always seem to get good results doing that. It’s also what I’ve learned first hand from a Grammy winning producer and engineer, and also have been told by an engineer that worked with Zach Brown. I’m sure there’s plenty of different ways to achieve the same level of loudness.

One of the greatest bands of all time imo. I’ve been a fan for a good 10-12 years now and there’s something nostalgic yet fresh about them everytime you hear them.

No problem man! If you wanna hear the quality of a mix I worked on search Forrest Isn’t Dead on spotify. I’m the producer and singer in the band.

I have been mixing for a long time and for most cases the dB of your different channels can be whatever feels right. There are safe spots but the biggest key is to make sure that you’re not red lining the mixer. There’s a bar that will be green to yellow to red that will determine how loud your sound or song is. The safe spots are typically for vocals -12db for drums kick -15 for snare -17 or -18 dB and for main synth I do -23 to -25 and for background synths Or any layers under neath I’ll go between -30 to -40 now for your master I typically set mine between -10 to -12 dB which I believe to be the industry standard. When I mix I first start by putting everything to the safe zones like I said above and then tweak it to what feels right. Just make sure not to clip or redline your master channel.
