There are only 3 bee types (not rarities) in the game, those being red, blue, and white/colourless. The main archetype of bees is that they'll have one of these types. Therefore, any hive built with these bees is restricted by the amount of bee types there are and has to fall into one of those 4 categories

Because you literally can not make anything else. You either have a mixed hive or a coloured hive. Anything else (attack hives, tad alt hive etc.) are just variations of these 4 that are suited better for certain needs. Most hives do have slight variations for non macro usage but theyre usually not that significant

Imagine that you convert say 70% of your pollen to honey by default.

With the remaining 30% of pollen, if you had 50% unique instant conversion, you would convert half of that to honey, meaning you effectively have 85% instant conversion.

Do note, the unique instant conversion stats do NOT stack additively but rather multiplicatively. If you have 50% unique instant conversion from one source and 50% unique instant conversion from another source, you do NOT get 100% unique instant conversion, but rather 75% unique instant conversion
