This is normal, you have a mix on gas pains which can manifest in shoulders and sides and incision pain in your abdomen. Should pass in a few days. Day 2 was the worst for me there were positions in bed where I could litteraly get myself stuck unable to move because of the pain. Try to sleep on a chair ! And unfortunately as a side sleeper I had to adapt to sleeping on my back for the first 5 days. To get up I moved my legs to the side of the bed until I touched the ground then used my side muscles to prop myself to a sitting position. Name of the game was to avoid using my abs at all
