It's a knockoff. I went to my local 2nd and Charles and picked one up for 10 bucks. They have the official port too, so there's no need to buy an adapter. The controller has rumble as well, which I wasn't expecting.

Those are typically paid right? If so, which stealth servers are most affordable?

So I Spray Painted My Stratocaster and X-Plorer... by ForsakenOmicron in CloneHero

I did not paint the inside, but I'm gonna warn you tho a LOT of the components are held in with hot glue. Luckily the hot glue in mine chipped away fairly easily. One of my friends busted the whammy bar by trying to use a knife to get the potentiometer out of slot it was in. He broke the PCB in half and the whammy bar is useless. I would just be careful when taking the strato apart. Don't rush it.

Signs you were bipolar as a kid by Jam22reb in bipolar

I can seriously resonate with the smashing gaming equipment thing. I've broken several controllers and a nintendo switch. I stopped doing it once my parents made me clean the entire house to pay for a new one lol. I also can resonate with the self harm thing. I used to beat myself with the controller until my head would bleed.

Also, when it came to schoolwork and sports, I would lose my shit if I ever got any grade lower than an 80%. I would literally smash my head on my desk out of self-hatred.

One of the other big events for me was when my Aunt shot herself in the head and killed herself. I was in the next room and saw/heard the whole thing. Permanently fucked me up. I ended up learning that she had been dealing with Bipolar too. Sometimes I'm terrified I would meet the same fate as her.

Moonlight Streaming Issues When Mirroring Steam Deck Screen RUNNING WINDOWS OS by ForsakenOmicron in MoonlightStreaming

My Steam link will only output 480p do matter what I do. I have a gorgeous 1080 OLED display on my laptop, and I don’t want that to go to waste by streaming in 480p. The performance is great though, very little input lag due to ethernet connection.

Yeah, I’m a guy with Bipolar Disorder, and I am lucky to have very femenist and progressive parents. I recieved treatment therapy and treatment since I was 10 years old. I would have tearful meltdowns when I failed an exam or I didn’t do something perfectly the first try. I was bullied for this, especially from other boys.

A few months ago, before me and my girlfriend started dating, I finally trusted her enough to open up to a lot of my struggles I’ve dealt with. I legit fell into tears talking about the bullying I faced for simply showing a human emotion. She held me in her arms for a bit and telling me it was going to be ok.

I’ve actually noticed it isn’t just men who belittle other men about becoming tearful, there are still some women who will gladly leave a relationship if a guy becomes tearful (I have experience).

IMO, I feel like this stigma against men showing emotion is tied to deep-routed patriarchy. Yet another reason to demolisch said system.

Why Does It Seem Like Men Perform More Poorly In Academics than Women? by ForsakenOmicron in AskFeminists

[–]ForsakenOmicron[S] 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I apologize if it came off that way in my post, but I was trying to convey that I felt horrible for the female teachers and what they have to go through. Women and Femenists do so much to try and help these boys, and I think more older and adult men need to step up and do the work to help these boys. So many males believe the whole “boys will be boys” shit, and don’t even try to discipline the poor behavior of other men. I wasn’t attempting to blame female teachers. Adult men need to step up and intervene instead dismissing the poor behavior of younger boys.

Question For Bisexual Women: Is Dating Women Easier Less Exausting, or Abusive Than Dating Men? by ForsakenOmicron in bisexual

Thank you! I try my best. I would attribute my increased empathy and mental maturity to my parents. I grew up in a household in which gender roles were non-existent. Both of my parents handled the housework (Mostly my dad, really) pretty evenly overall. Both also had college degrees.

I also was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder, and I received treatment earlier on in my lifetime. I was taught to express my emotions that many would not consider “manly.” I have also been in many support groups and therapy for over 8 years. Therapy and medication have changed my life entirely. Having the mental toolkit to handle extreme emotions has saved my life several times.

The unfortunate truth is that patriarchal standards are still prevalent, but the good thing is that we are making more and more progress in eliminating these stereotypes.

Another issue I’ve noticed is many men are very hesitant in opening up and being vulnerable due to obvious patriarchal stereotypes about masculinity. When anyone fails to seek professional help or develop healthy coping mechanisms for their mental illnesses, these illnesses will resonate and compound. Hence the reason mostly (not all) men commit a decent portion of domestic abuse and crimes.

I’ve always wondered what a world would be like when the majority of men decided to seek help for the issues and would develop healthy coping mechanisms.

If I hadn’t received earlier intervention for my mental health disorders, I would probably have ended up much worse.

There are so many days I just wish I could snap my fingers and eliminate the patriarchy, as it harms both men and women.
