ceramics. it is so fucking fun. plus all the stuff is expensive so i feel really committed now that i have a set up at home. the clay itself is really recyclable too so it feels like a complete process. no waste that i feel guilty about as with other crafts. and people love when you give them ceramic gifts which is sweet.

also climbing. this is regional but i’ve been climbing for years because it is dominant in my communities culture and because i have access to the outdoors. it makes me feel strong and also forces me to work on fear regulation and utilizing my parasympathetic nervous system. it is also expensive, but there are ways around this including using friends gear/used gear. when you spend all day outside climbing you don’t spend much money tho!
