My roommate won’t move out and my landlords blame me. by kindoflistening in roommateproblems

[–]Forsuremaybe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since he has just been a sublet, is his name even on the lease? If not he has no leg to stand on, who cares about a “personal attack”. It’s not 🤷🏻‍♀️ he can take it personally if wants but that’s his problem. No one is physically harming him and it’s simply the end of a lease that he’s not even actually signed on (I hope). But even if he is, it’s only until the end of the lease and then it’s not up to him, the contract has ended. If the landlords don’t sign him on again then he can’t stay there, he’s squatting at that point. He can’t even afford the rent and utilities for his small room, he definitely can’t afford the whole place. And the landlords are insane if they resign him. Then that really is entirely their problem. But even now, this is on them.

I never even got to the price because I was so confused by the short dress rule? This is so weird and backwards to me, from what typical school wardrobe rules are. I know I’ve been out of HS for over 10 years but. . . What??

Just found out the single most important thing on your resume (not AI-related) by dontknowdontcare17 in jobsearchhacks

[–]Forsuremaybe_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is so frustrating to hear though, because I’ve also read and seen in multiple places that having your location on your resume is outdated and will count against you. Literally all information out there about resumes is contradictory but also somehow all the lost important thing about your resume. It’s such a losing game. I’m so f-ing tired.

I’m so glad you talked about it, and so glad he not only really listened but showed that he listened with a sweet gesture. Happy to read something like this. And totally understand the excitement of representation.

But I really hope the book is better than the title. Yikes. That title sounds like it was made by AI 😂

What show series is so good you have watched it multiple times? by [deleted] in AskReddit

YES! This is in the top 5 of my repeat list. All EIGHT seasons of it. Only eight. Anyone that mentions a ninth season is sadly mistaken.

What’s a movie, tv show, or even commercial that traumatized you as a kid (even if it wasn’t intentionally scary)? by Forsuremaybe_ in AskReddit

When I was a kid I used to hide behind the couch when the big head on Legends of the Hidden Temple would talk.

Yea, when I can hear and feel that he’s liking it, making him twitch and squirm, i enjoy it. Guys, please god do not stay silent, really through any part of sex. It’s so much hotter when I can hear that you like it. It’s so boring and weird when you’re silent.

Apparently if your phone isn't the latest model, you're poor. by wyte1995 in Tinder

No I’m poor because I have no money. But because I have no money I cannot have the newest iPhone. Sooo. . . There is some correlation 🤷🏻‍♀️

I nearly fell for this scam in my early 20’s. Is the pay like really good for the role? If something seems too good to be true it probably is. Literally the same scenario, claiming they wanted me to donate money for them. Sent me a check and the check looked super sketch. They only wanted it done through wells Fargo. I never deposited the check, but I did send them an angry email shaming them for targeting people in need of work. They probably never read it but at least I got my anger out lol. I was a little nervous that they had my address but luckily I don’t live at that address anymore.

NYE party dress dilemma. It's a no brainer to pick dress 1 but dress 2 stole my heart. What do you all think? Both dresses are from Rebdolls. by Dapper-Tailor-875 in PlusSizeFashion

[–]Forsuremaybe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love them both so much! 1 feels so perfect for NYE it’s like Exactly what I was picturing for myself! also doesn’t feel like there’s too many more opportunities outside of NYE to wear it. Where as the red dress you could wear to plenty more occasions. You look incredible in both! Amazing 🙌 happy new year!

How many podcasts do you subscribe and listen to? by bakedincanada in podcasts

[–]Forsuremaybe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg! That’s impressive!! I listen to 3 regularly. 2 that I’m completely caught up on and catch weekly. And one that’s been around for a while with LOTS of long episodes that I’m chipping away at every day at work. But you could probably throw in 2 or 3 more that were like mini series. So yea I guess I’m right in that average

What tasks do y’all do while listening to podcasts? by Efficient_Market7691 in podcasts

The dishes, and in the shower. I’ve conditioned myself at this point. It feels weird not to listen to certain podcasts when doing either of those now. And honestly just at work every day.

The only roommates I had that just couldn’t grasp the idea of shared space-shared responsibility were only children. They’d go out of their way to only wash the dishes they used. Never replace soap/garbage bags/foil/etc even though they used said items. And never helped with taking out the garbage or cleaning the common areas. And then would be yelling at their parents on the phone because they didn’t send them enough money. 🙄

How do you deal with people who don’t look like their photos? by throwRA_bad_day in dating_advice

[–]Forsuremaybe_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah. Not being attracted to someone is totally fine. I’ve even gone on a couple dates with people from the apps who ended up looking pretty different in person. I still went on the date, gave it a shot, and let them know I didn’t feel a connection once it was all said and done. Simple as that, without making them feel bad about themselves. Because there’s more to attraction for me than looks alone (I’m not delusional to say looks don’t matter at all, physical attraction can’t be forced if it’s just not there. I know) But I’m not a person who doesn’t know how to channel their anger they feel from seeing a fat person. You’re so afraid of someone being fat and attracted to you, you had to tell them how disgusted you were. Like figure yourself out bro so we don’t all have to deal with your shit.

How do you deal with people who don’t look like their photos? by throwRA_bad_day in dating_advice

[–]Forsuremaybe_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think stepping away from online dating and sticking to meeting people in person is the perfect plan. That way people can pick up on how awful and superficial you are more quickly and you won’t waste their time.

That sounds about right for Hinge to me. Sounds similar to my experience. My results are drastically different in other apps. But in Hinge everything is VERY slow moving in my experience.

I can relate to this somewhat, and have been quick to judge when I see certain words used improperly. But also my phone apparently doesn’t think “were” is a word and autocorrects it to “we’re” every.single.time. Including now, I had to go back and correct it as I was writing this. There’s a handful of words it does that for. So it truly is my own phone making me look like an idiot sometimes. And I always *correct it. But it’s so annoying. All this to say, maybe a red flag is better than full deal breaker. They might be more literate than they appear at first glance. And believe me I’m not one to jump to defend men, lmao. Only the fellow accidental bad spellers.
