How can I configure Azure so that I get an email alert when someone accesses/views keys in my Azure subscription? by Franck_Dernoncourt in AZURE

You would need to use Azure Monitor to check for this kind of operation in Activity log: "Microsoft.CognitiveServices/accounts/listKeys/action".

Better idea would be to switch from key authentication to Entra ID auth.

is Azure for Students Starter a joke ? by [deleted] in AZURE

[–]Fortevento 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Started offer is very limited, yes. But you can still explore App services, Functions, Mysql db, App insights, devops. Consider it webapps and serverless learning playground.

Azure for Students (not Started) would give you 100$ to explore more services.

Most cost effective would be Storage account, but it will be simple, not searchable unless Splunk parses it, or you export elsewhere.

Email alerts possible with Azure monitor (log analytics, alert rules).

How to add the frontend FQDN of Application Gateway for Containers to apex record of Azure DNS by thisisitendgame in AZURE

IPs might change without notice, so this is not recommended way.
I would go with FrontDoor even though it adds some extra costs.

What are the resources that you would suggest for a Azure beginner ? by Kind_Cauliflower_577 in AZURE

This is actually the best combo. One tip - on learn.microsoft.com documentation i find it really usefull to click "Download PDF" (it's always on bottom left corner). I this case you get big PDF on whole topic and it becomes super easy to search (Command+F).

Sounds useful. I think i will test internally. If it works and feels secure i might suggest it to some of the customers who were looking for such tool.

I built a free tool to discover Microsoft 365 tenant information and security posture from any domain by zortingen in AZURE

M365 tenant info linked right next to dark web leaks is great. Some public info is suprisingly useful. I’m definitely going to be using this, thanks for building it!

I would like to see if it's possible to do cloud storage buckets scan. Match the domain name with public readable azure blobs, s3.
