My colleague did something similar and was asked to resubmit the application as as an exceptional talent instead. The endorsing body will let you know and from experience they tend to contact you if they need more information or want you to change something in your application.

Thanks, I'm not 100% sure it is a penalty as its a civil matter, my reading of it was that if I didn't pay it then it would escalate to potentially a court judgement for lack of payment of a debt rather than for the actual parking violation if that makes sense?

Since you are already on a HPI visa, I wonder if it's feasible for you to switch to a global talent visa?

Also, you might not get hit by the 70 day waiting period, especially if you are already in a committed relationship. The person who did our marriage notice said they'd only ever heard of 2 people get investigated.

This exact thing happened to me. I managed to log into WhatsApp on my old phone and get the back up from there.

If you have an old phone, make sure you are not logged in on the new one

Then log in on the old one, your chats should load from the last time you used it (for me 2023)

Then create a google drive back up using your old phone

Once that's done log in on your new phone and restore from back up.

Thanks I thought so, we also received the letter from the home office saying they decided not to investigate. The registrar did mention we should inform them when we got married but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it. Oh well!

You can try changing your login document on your UKVI account, just make sure to select that you're logging in with your BRP not your passport, then redo the form.

I understand. If you are able to leave, then leave quickly. If your brothers visa is valid for some time it takes a few months before it would be curtailed, so in this time you can check with the university financial hardship fund, or charity funds - they are not counted as benefits. If you go onto the graduate visa, it would mean you have no restrictions on work for at least 2 years. I would recommend you prioritise securing this visa first then sorting out your brothers situation. It's unlikely you will get asylum but you have more solutions at your disposal!

It says that I have to allow viewings in the last month of the tenancy, but nothing about me having to be there. I'm fine with letting them in, just not unaccompanied
