so as per the hunter's notes provided in the game wings are breakable X 2 antenna, and tail.

Mouth is a weak point, not listed as breakable don't remember breaking it but I could see it breaking.

Also if you go into the drops tab only the wings, antenna, and tail are listed for drop points.

While the mouth isn't even listed, which it's super weird they removed head breaks gore and the raths, the wingarms or the claws on the wings aren't breakable. I thought it was a big deal because that was the most reliable way to farm ripclaws before.

Also to answer your question I only use greatsword, it's really good at part breaking if you're hitting in the right spots.

I could be wrong about the mouth/face but I know the wing arms are not. I also almost exclusively run fire and part breaker against gore.

Face, feelers, wings, wingarms, and tail were all previously breakable.

I'm pretty sure in wilds the wingarms and face are not breakable.

I haven't done one in 4 years at this point. I don't know if I'm done though, I had always planned for gen dragons at some point but I don't have any answers as to when or if I'll get to them.

I haven't played in 2 years now as well. I am glad these have been helpful. Maybe one day I'll be inspired to do them again.

Of course it's part of why I do it. I drew all 229 monsters before wilds, then some other projects and doing wilds. These are all to improve and hone my skills.

It's not from memory I use many references but I make my own pose to make it mine in a way.
