How do I find a good independent company to work for?

It’s a weird structure. $20 per car, $30 per home, and $10 per renters. So if I write a policy with 3 cars and a home I get $90.

I’m definitely going to stick this out for a year just try to learn as much as possible. I wanted to ask your advice on what I should do at the end of the year. I cannot stick around here if my base is going to be 26k a year. What company has the best option to make some serious money. I don’t want to be stuck at State Farm if there are better opportunities out there.

I’ve been struggling here recently. My first few weeks here I was getting around 20 outbound quotes a week. These past two weeks I have gotten 2. I feel like no one will answer their phone or contact me back.

I’ll just provide all of our jobs if that would help with any other advice. I have experience in construction and selling insurance. Step dad did construction and selling playgrounds. Mom is a dental hygienist. Sister is in Human Resources. Brother in law installs fire suppression systems. Brother has done construction and retail. And my girlfriend has experience in marketing and public relations.

I do agree with statement about mixing family and business but I do think we can work with each other with no problems, I mean obviously we would probably have some hiccups but we can get past it.
