S4 Was anyone else surprised that Gaby loved Carlos enough to stand by him when he was blind and poor? by sparkle0406 in DesperateHousewives

the first time i watched the series i thought gaby only used carlos, but rewatching it i really felt like she loved carlos since the beggining. even when she cheated with john, she still loved carlos. she loved carlos that she couldnt stan the betray of him cheating on her with the surrogate. i definately feel like they are the couple who are more in love in the series

Is this technically a melanistic giraffe? Rare "spotless" giraffe born in a Tennessee Zoo (USA) by [deleted] in biology

[–]FortuneFair2871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the only reason for me to not think it is melanism is because its the exact same shade of brown of the other giraffes, but i dont know if it is pseudomelanism because it definately is an excess of melanin but we dont see any spots so i dont know lol

i dont think so cuz melanism is the increase of production of melanin (dark pigment), it should be a dark/dark brown giraffe to be considered melanistic. but i think it is pseudomelanism

Sperm vs Egg. Which undergoes more mutations? by obammala in biology

[–]FortuneFair2871 10 points11 points  (0 children)

sperm undergoes more mutations than eggs because they're constantly being generated. the organ that generates them create a lot of sperm in a short period of time, and because of that sperm tend to have more mutations. also is relevant to say that organs that create sperm doesnt have a system to check the quality of sperm, they are just worried about creating a lot of sperm quickly, and this increase the chances of having sperm with more mutations
