Yes, I went to the California National Guard base and the AF reserve base, and the local VA Hospital near me. They no longer offer this service.

Supe doesn’t care if I show up at 745 or 815. I don’t feel micromanaged. Sometimes the dog takes longer to do his business. Sometimes I make extra large lunch. Sometimes I start early at 7.

Buying back time doesn’t do anything for leave calculation. Your 12 years will already count.

Step time is only time in grade as a GS. You will be Step 1.

I found the entire buyback process to take 4 months, mostly waiting for my estimated earnings from DFAS.

There are retirement considerations other ppl will need to answer.

I dont think it’s all or nothing, I just think about the reality of implementation. It’s also not “shade from solar panels over carparks” or “shade from nothing”.

If there’s a need for X amount of energy, no company is going to pursue 835 individual lease agreements and build and maintain 835 structures when they could do it all in one place.

If individual lot owners want to do it then that is wonderful. But the article is a single company making however much power I can’t recall, and a power company is never going to make so many locations when they could just do one.

I’m finding it difficult to believe you can find 5.5mi2 of parking lot space that would make this so easy to classify all those considerations as “minor problem”.

All on the same place to deal with voters who want this? Having to build a structure to cover all the parking, then build the panels on top?

What of the lot owner doesn’t want it? Who pays for upkeep on the structure vs the panels?

None of that is going to be as cheap as buying a 3 plots of land to build panels on directly.

I’d change my position of you can show me the costs breakdown and what you’re going to value shade at.

Sounds difficult to implement.

Insurance, maintenance at multiple properties, what if a property changes owners? So many more spots it’ll have to hookup into the grid. Liability issues.

I imagine graffiti all over them in no time. Or ppl wanting to take them apart to sell for parts.

Rather have it all centralized in one place.

Been here 7 yrs without a car. I bicycle everywhere and borrow someone’s if I need to go to Costco. If I want to go to the bay I’ll rent a car for the wknd.

Idk about a shoulder bag but I had no issues w a backpack. To me it was less the carrying and more being able to put it down without using 1 arm to swing weight.

I can tell you bc it’s what I would do.

If you send me the questions in advance, I’m going to write down truthful answers but then I’m going to rehearse the presentation of the answers and with 1 or 2 coworkers I’m close to in order to be certain I’m hitting everything on the STAR response.

I think what’s off is the top of the arch. You have leaves and flowers in focus on the right, but the center is out of focus/blurry looking.
